Holiday Inn Express Beijing Temple of Heaven

I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express years ago, and this recent business trip felt like a nostalgic return. The hotel has been completely renovated—every aspect, from room size to furniture quality, public areas, and breakfast offerings, now feels significantly upgraded. Compared to other budget-friendly business hotels in the same price range, this property stands out clearly in every way. Its central location near Qianmen and Tianqiao makes getting around the city incredibly convenient. Just a short walk away are the Xiantong Temple (China Museum of Ancient Architecture) and the Tianqiao Museum—both worth a visit for their rich cultural atmosphere. Perfect for travelers who value both comfort and convenience.

Blossom House·HouHai Beijing

Staying at Blossom House·Hou Hai Beijing in Yangfang Hutong was such a delightful experience. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Houhai Lake and the Drum Tower, making it perfect for exploring Beijing’s historic heart. The hotel’s interior design stands out with its creative use of irregular shapes, which might not be everyone’s taste, but I appreciated the unique character. What truly impressed me was the comfort of the bed—excellent mattress and high-quality linens made for a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast offered both set menus and à la carte options, so there was something for everyone, and nothing went to waste. The staff—Liu Linlin, Xiao Xi, and Xiao Zheng—were incredibly warm and attentive. They helped with luggage, offered free yogurt and fresh fruit, and always had a smile. It felt less like staying in a hotel and more like being welcomed into a home. This place has a special charm, and I’ll definitely return.

The PuXuan Hotel and Spa

Staying at The PuXuan Hotel and Spa in Beijing was a delightful experience overall. The room size was just right—not too cramped, not overly spacious—and being just steps from the metro made getting around the city incredibly convenient. The twin beds were slightly smaller than expected, but the mattress was so comfortable that I slept like a baby. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the eggs—perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and soft center. However, the wonton soup could use more depth in flavor. Adding some rice noodles or vermicelli dishes, maybe even a spicy beef noodle option, would be a great addition to the menu. Despite minor room for improvement, the hospitality, location, and value for money made this stay truly memorable. I’d definitely come back here on my next trip to Beijing!

Pan Pacific Beijing

I was thrilled to book a Comfort Room again—so happy! While the hotel isn’t brand new and some facilities show their age, everything is well-maintained and functional. Cleanliness stands out—every corner is spotless, which made me feel completely at ease. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: right in the heart of Xidan, with shopping, dining, and subway access just steps away. During the holiday season, the hotel was beautifully decorated with festive vibes—warm, cheerful, and full of spirit. The staff were incredibly welcoming and even accommodated my late checkout without any hassle. This is hands down my go-to choice for business trips. Convenient, reliable, and consistently great service. I’ll definitely be back.

Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel - Marriott International

Staying at the Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel was an absolute highlight of our trip. Located right in the heart of Beijing, it’s incredibly convenient—just a short walk to Wangfujing shopping street and major attractions like the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and featured all the amenities we needed. The view of the Forbidden City and Jingshan Mountain was simply unforgettable. We especially loved the New Year’s Eve atmosphere in the lobby—warm, festive, and beautifully decorated. The Executive Lounge perks were top-notch: great happy hour dinner, delicious breakfast, and a cozy space to unwind. The staff were professional, friendly, and attentive throughout—special thanks to Cecilia at check-in and Peter at checkout for their exceptional service. We’ve made this hotel our go-to spot for annual New Year gatherings with friends, and it never disappoints. One small suggestion: the bathroom toilet on the executive floor isn’t smart, so no heated seat or bidet function—this could be improved, especially during colder months. Also, only two bottles of water provided in the room are a bit minimal; while you can request more or grab some from the lounge, having them delivered directly would be more convenient. Still, these minor points don’t take away from the overall excellent experience. This place truly delivers luxury, comfort, and hospitality—highly recommended!

Staying at Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing Beijing was an absolutely unforgettable experience—far beyond what I expected. Nestled in the heart of old Beijing, the hotel offers a perfect blend of tradition and luxury with excellent access to public transit. From the moment we walked in, every detail screamed quality: impeccable cleanliness, elegant design, and service that felt genuinely personal. My birthday was celebrated with a beautifully decorated room, a sparkling champagne toast, and a delicious cake—my kids were thrilled to find a whole basket of candies waiting for them! The non-alcoholic beverages were surprisingly sophisticated, many I’d never tasted before. The bathroom was a dream—huge soaking tub with powerful water pressure, and the air conditioning maintained perfect, consistent temperature without any drafts or sudden shifts. It’s clear the building systems are top-notch. Even the little extras like a yoga mat in the room showed how thoughtfully designed everything is. This wasn’t just a stay—it was a true luxury retreat. If you’re ever in Beijing, this is one experience you simply must book. Worth every penny.

Le Joy Hotel

The service from our host Xuanxuan was exceptional—warm, attentive, and proactive. She called us the day before check-in to confirm our arrival time, and when we arrived, everything was already prepared. The room itself is beautifully designed with a modern minimalist style—spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. We loved how convenient the location is: just a 3-minute walk from the metro station, and the hotel is directly connected to a shopping mall, so dining and shopping could be done without stepping outside. Empark Prime Hotel Wangfujing

This was my second visit to Beijing and I was delighted to be placed in the same floor as my previous stay—this time in a quiet, well-separated room with stunning views of the China Tower skyline. The location is unbeatable: walking distance to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and Wangfujing shopping district, while nearby Longfu Temple Market offers great dining options. On-site amenities are efficient, and the restaurant consistently delivers quality meals. That said, cleanliness this time didn’t quite match up to last year’s standard—hope they’ll take note and improve. Overall, it's still a top-tier choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and a central base in Beijing.

Beijing Hotel

Staying at Beijing Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the front desk manager, Ms. Geng Xiaojuan, greeted me with calm professionalism and provided a detailed, insightful overview of the hotel’s historical events—her knowledge and demeanor were truly impressive. She even reminded me to take my charger when I left the room—a small but thoughtful touch that made a big difference. During winter, the dry air was addressed by providing complimentary mineral water in the room, which was such a nice gesture for hydration. The ambiance is timeless: elegant, refined, and steeped in history, yet warm and welcoming. The lobby shines with classic grandeur, and the rooms are beautifully maintained—bright, spacious, and impeccably clean. Everything feels fresh and well-kept, with no lingering odors, just a crisp, comfortable atmosphere. The smart control panel made adjusting lighting, temperature, and curtains effortless, enhancing relaxation. Service across the board was top-tier: attentive, intuitive, and genuinely caring without being overbearing. I also want to commend Li Maoban from the luggage team—he went out of his way to assist during check-out, offering a warm, human touch that stood out.
