Park Avenue Hotel
I stayed here in July 2024—this isn’t my first visit, and I only book this specific room because it’s perfect for solo travelers like me. Though labeled as a double room, it feels spacious and incredibly comfortable for one person. The bed is wide with two soft mattresses, ideal for a restful night’s sleep. There are two pillows, the bed is positioned by the window so you can enjoy natural light, and everything you need is right there: TV, Wi-Fi, dual lighting options (blue and regular), a chair for your belongings, a closet hanger, and a private bathroom inside the room. Bath amenities include a face towel, bath towel, liquid soap, and shampoo—very thoughtful. Just one thing to note: no slippers provided, so bring your own. Hot water is always available, which is a big plus. The room is on the second floor, and stepping down to the ground level gives access to a cozy shared space with a fridge, tables, chairs, a small sofa, microwave, coffee and tea machine (all under 80 rubles), plus free coffee, sugar, and tea bags. There’s also an electric kettle and a water dispenser offering both hot and cold water. Need to do laundry? A washing machine is available for 300 rubles. Smoking is allowed only outside—keeps the air fresh and quiet. I had a truly relaxing stay, and I’ll definitely come back. After trying countless hostels, capsule hotels, and budget accommodations, this hotel stands out in every way—not just for comfort but for location too. It’s tucked into a quiet courtyard, with bus and trolleybus stops right outside the gate. Getting to the metro or city center is super easy. There’s a nearby cafeteria for quick meals. The staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with any questions. If you’re visiting St. Petersburg—the most magical, enchanting city in the world—I highly recommend staying here. You’ll feel at home, well taken care of, and fully immersed in the beauty of this incredible place. Until next time, my beloved Saint Petersburg! ❤️❤️❤️
