I can't recommend this place at all. The manager was extremely rude and seemed to have no respect for guests. This behavior completely ruined my trip and left me with a negative impression of Glasgow, which is unfortunate since I had high hopes for the city. The room was underwhelming, and the overall service fell far short of expectations. It's sad that one person's attitude could affect such a strong experience. The entire stay was enjoyable from start to finish, with great attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere. I truly hope Virgin continues expanding across Europe—London would be an obvious next step, and even warmer destinations like Barcelona could be a fantastic fit. I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant in Glasgow this time, but I did enjoy the Commons Club in Edinburgh—it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re there.
