Staying at Holiday Inn Express Barcelona - City 22 was a fantastic experience. The room was spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed—bright lighting, a safe, and a mini-fridge made it super convenient. Cleanliness stood out immediately; the room was spotless and fresh, which always makes a big difference. The staff were friendly and attentive, going the extra mile to ensure we felt comfortable. What really impressed me was how family-friendly this hotel is—two adults staying, and kids under six stayed free! That’s a huge plus for families. Plus, it's just a short walk from the metro, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, great value, excellent service, and a perfect base for discovering Barcelona. I’d definitely book here again.
Dalí Residence
This was an absolute waste of money. From the moment we arrived, we were faced with one issue after another. The duvet was visibly dirty and unhygienic. The washing machine’s pipe had completely disconnected—when we tried to use it, water flooded the balcony and even seeped into the balconies below. The shower turned icy cold within minutes; when I contacted the staff about it, they confirmed the same issue but took no action. For our last few days, we had to shower at a friend’s place. The washing machine was filthy and emitted a foul odor. Even worse, the hairdryer sparked and started smoking the first time we plugged it in—definitely not safe. The balcony was extremely messy and dirty, covered in debris and grime. I took photos of everything because I truly don’t want anyone else to go through this. You can find better accommodations for the same price. Don’t make the same mistake we did.

The room was surprisingly spacious, with excellent cleanliness throughout, especially the bathroom, which felt more like a private retreat than just a washroom. Located just steps away from the metro, getting around Barcelona was incredibly easy. The overall experience exceeded my expectations—comfortable, convenient, and full of charm. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic—my top pick in Barcelona so far! Right next to the beach, just a quick crossing of the avenue, and only a 5-minute walk to the metro station. That makes exploring the city incredibly convenient. I stayed in a spacious 42 sqm suite with an amazing sea view. The room had a wide 2-meter bed, a relaxing hydrotherapy tub, a separate shower, two TVs—perfect for unwinding after a long day. The rooftop terrace with a pool was a nice touch, though we didn’t get to use it due to the weather. Still, it’s a peaceful spot to enjoy a drink or just take in the view. The soundproofing is excellent—no noise from outside or neighboring rooms, and cleanliness is top-notch. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The only downside? No on-site restaurant, but there’s a bar and room service breakfast, which is super convenient. Overall, this place delivers outstanding value, comfort, and location. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona.
