The Westin Josun Busan
Staying in the executive floor was a highlight, and while the happy hour snacks were a bit simple, everything else about this hotel exceeded expectations. The location is unbeatable—right next to the beach with a stunning ocean view, and just behind the hotel, you’ll find scenic walking trails through the hills, perfect for a peaceful stroll. Staff went above and beyond—my luggage was delivered straight to my room without any request for tips, which felt genuinely thoughtful. The housekeeping staff were professional and polished, with subtle makeup and elegant earrings, reflecting the hotel’s attention to detail. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt relaxed, luxurious, and welcoming. It truly felt like a getaway, even if it was just a short trip. If you’re looking for comfort, great service, and a serene escape, this hotel is absolutely worth it.

The area around the hotel is bustling with restaurants, convenience stores, and an OLIVEYOUNG, so everything you need is within walking distance. The room size is just right—two 25-inch suitcases fit comfortably, with a little extra space left. Cleanliness and soundproofing are both solid, which adds to the overall comfort. The only downside is the breakfast area, which gets crowded daily and feels a bit cramped with tables close together. However, the food quality is good, and since it’s on a higher floor, the view from the windows is lovely—especially during morning light. Overall, great value and a smart choice for travelers.

We stayed in a triple room and were thoroughly impressed with the overall comfort and spaciousness—especially the bathroom, which was generously sized and very practical. On one occasion, our food delivery didn’t arrive, but the front desk staff handled it with great patience and professionalism. They immediately helped us contact the delivery service, resolved the issue, and even explained that since our hotel shares the same address as a nearby apartment complex, delivery mix-ups happen occasionally. They advised us to be extra clear when placing orders in the future. The only minor downside was that the room only had two chairs, so one person couldn’t sit comfortably during meals. But considering the excellent location, clean rooms, and friendly service, this was a small trade-off. We’d definitely recommend this hotel and plan to stay here again.

You don’t need to walk far for convenience: there are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. It’s only about a 10-minute walk to the subway station, and right in front of it, multiple bus routes head to various attractions. The hotel is also close to the Chinatown area, plus Oliver Young is just around the corner if you’re into shopping or gifts. When booking, double-check your reservation details—ask the front desk upon check-in if you’ve received your discount voucher from Oliver Young. Don’t miss out on nearby local gems either: a short stroll leads to a popular spot called Bonkai Restaurant, famous for its authentic Korean pork soup rice. And just a 15-minute walk away, there’s an amazing grilled meat restaurant that delivers rich flavor and great value. The paid breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options. If you’re up early, grab a window seat and enjoy sunrise views while sipping coffee—pure relaxation. Overall, the hotel’s central location, excellent amenities, and easy access to everything make it a top pick. I’ll definitely come back!

The facilities are well-maintained and include all essentials—plus, free drinking water is available throughout the stay, which is a nice touch. While toothbrushes aren’t provided (you’ll need to purchase one separately), there’s no hassle since two convenient convenience stores—CU and GS25—are right downstairs. This means you can grab anything you need without leaving the building. The atmosphere is clean, quiet, and very welcoming. With its excellent location, practical amenities, and great value, this hotel is an ideal choice for anyone visiting Busan.

I’ve stayed here multiple times during business trips to Busan, and this time I brought my husband for a late getaway—truly one of the best choices we’ve made. The room was spotless and had a stylish air conditioner that kept everything comfortable. What stood out most was the free pool, which opened early in the morning and stayed open late into the night—perfect for enjoying breakfast by the water or unwinding with a drink under the stars. The poolside bar offers wine, beer, soju, and more, making it easy to sip a glass while soaking in the city lights at night. Since we visited on a weekday, the place was almost empty—felt like we had the whole pool to ourselves! And from 7 PM onwards, there’s a no-kids zone, which is great for couples or friends looking to enjoy a romantic or relaxed atmosphere without distractions. I did see a guest question why kids couldn’t enter after 7 PM, but the policy is clearly posted—maybe just overlooked. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. The room had a huge smart TV, perfect for streaming Netflix (you’ll need your own account). After a warm bath, I lounged on the plush bed with a cold beer, watching shows and reflecting on our trip—it was the perfect way to wrap things up. Located just a 5-minute walk from the train station and offering free parking, this hotel is ideal whether you're arriving by train or car. Highly recommend for convenience, comfort, and that little touch of luxury.

From check-in, the front desk added me on LINE and sent over 31 detailed tips and local guides, including restaurant recommendations and useful reminders. They even offered to help order fried chicken delivery — such a thoughtful touch when you're tired after a long day. Upon checkout, they allowed free luggage storage, which was super helpful for early flights or late arrivals. While the room didn’t come with bottled water, there’s a self-service water station right by the main elevator on the first floor. On the second floor, you’ll find laundry and drying facilities, plus a drinking fountain and microwave for quick meals. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: directly across from a 24-hour supermarket, with a GS25 convenience store just around the corner. All around, there are tons of great restaurants — from Korean BBQ to casual izakayas — and it’s only a 2-minute walk to Lotte Hotel. Plus, Seomyeon Station Exit 7 is just a 5-minute stroll away, making public transit super convenient. Everything you need is within walking distance, and the service is genuinely warm and attentive. Just a 13-minute walk gets you to Busan Station, where you can explore the iconic 168-step staircase. Cheongnae Station’s traditional night market is packed with delicious local snacks—perfect for a late-night treat. South Pyeong Station offers Biff Plaza, accessible via a scenic 40-step climb. West Gate Station brings you straight to Lotte Department Store—great for shopping and dining. Don’t miss the food stalls at Budang Market near Butdang Station, especially the famous pork buns and fish-shaped sweet potato cakes. And if you’re into stair challenges, Dongdaesin Station’s 192 steps are a fun way to burn off some calories while taking in the views. There’s simply no shortage of things to do within walking distance. This place is ideal for travelers who love convenience, culture, and great vibes. I’d definitely come back—maybe even more than once!

The breakfast is delicious and well worth waking up early for, especially if you're planning to catch a train to Fukuoka, Japan. That said, the hotel gets quite busy, so I’d recommend grabbing breakfast before 7:30 AM. By 8:00 AM, the dining area fills up fast, and service ends at 8:30 AM. Check-out is at 10:00 AM, which is a bit early, but manageable with proper timing. Despite the high occupancy, the location, food quality, and overall value make this a top pick for travelers looking for comfort and practicality in Busan.
