What’s even better? A new metro station is currently under construction nearby and expected to open soon, which will make access even more convenient in the near future. Clean, quiet, and thoughtfully designed—this place offers great value and comfort. Highly recommend for travelers looking for a smart, hassle-free stay in Guangzhou.

The bedding was incredibly soft and carried a subtle, refreshing scent that made for a truly relaxing night's sleep. Located right in the heart of Guangzhou, it’s within walking distance to the subway station, making access to major shopping districts, tourist spots, and local hotspots super convenient. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this place offers a perfect balance of comfort, location, and value. I’ll definitely be booking again next time I visit Guangzhou.

I booked through the platform and was really impressed with the warm welcome from the owner. Clear check-in instructions were provided in advance, and getting here from the metro is super easy—just cross the street from Taikoo Hui. The owner at reception was friendly and handed over the door code without any hassle. When I walked into the room, I was genuinely surprised: spacious, spotless, and well-designed for a single traveler—it felt just like home. The only minor downside is that the shower area is a bit small, but still functional. What really stood out was the amazing tea snacks at TaoTaoJu right downstairs—worth a visit all by itself. Plus, Beijing Road Pedestrian Street is just a short walk away, making it perfect for shopping and dining. For the price, this place offers incredible value and comfort. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in Guangzhou.

Staying at Chengye B&B in Guangzhou’s historic district was a delightful experience. Located right across from the famous Shiyi Xing clothing wholesale market in Yuexiu, the location is incredibly convenient—just steps from a bus stop and within easy reach of both Shamian Island and Beijing Road Pedestrian Street. The surrounding area is lined with charming old-style shophouses that give off a nostalgic, vintage vibe perfect for photography. While some of the furnishings are a bit dated, cleanliness is excellent—the rooms were spotless, and the bathroom felt fresh and well-maintained. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering great local tips on food spots and transportation options. They mentioned renovations are planned for the end of the year, so the place should only get better. Overall, this is a fantastic value-for-money stay in a truly authentic part of Guangzhou. I’d definitely return if I’m back in the city.

White Swan Hotel

Staying in the executive suite was an absolute delight. The room was spacious with a clear separation between the living and sleeping areas, offering a real sense of privacy. Everything was brand new and well-maintained—especially the bathroom with its efficient dry-wet separation and instant hot water. The executive lounge served excellent afternoon tea and evening snacks, both in quality and presentation. Despite being near the airport, we could hear planes overhead while walking outside, but inside the room, it was completely silent thanks to outstanding soundproofing. The view from the window was wide open, and natural light filled the entire space—really bright and welcoming. Attention to detail was top-notch, and the value for money truly exceeded expectations. The hidden gem was the small garden behind the hotel—lush greenery, peaceful and beautifully designed. Perfect for morning walks, post-lunch strolls, or relaxing in the evening. A small note: on our first morning, we had breakfast at the ground-floor restaurant. The staff welcomed us and asked what drinks we’d like, but then didn’t follow up with service. If they were busy, perhaps skipping the question would have made the experience smoother—just get the drinks to the table quickly instead. Overall, though, this stay was exceptional.

LN Garden Hotel Guangzhou

We stayed at LN Garden Hotel Guangzhou during the New Year holiday, choosing this long-established five-star hotel for its reputation and family appeal—my parents especially loved it. This year marks the hotel’s 40th anniversary, and the rich history, elegant ambiance, and exceptional service made our visit truly memorable. The location is incredibly convenient—right next to a metro station, which was great even if we didn’t use it daily. The garden area is peaceful and well-maintained, but what really stood out was the complimentary guided tour. At 2 PM, we were led by Mandy, a top-tier guide, who gave a detailed and engaging walkthrough of the facilities, including the fourth-floor museum. My mom was absolutely delighted—it was such a thoughtful addition, and I sincerely hope the hotel keeps this program alive. Service quality was outstanding throughout: warm welcome at check-in, dedicated staff operating elevators on every floor, and even personnel on duty at the lobby after midnight. On my birthday, they surprised us with a beautifully decorated room, a delicious cake (which was seriously one of the best I’ve ever had!), and Zoe personally helped carry my luggage up to the room. When there was a minor air-con issue, they responded immediately—even though it turned out not to be faulty, they still proactively opened the window for fresh air. That kind of care goes beyond expectations. Breakfast options were excellent too: three different venues across the ground floor, the 30th-floor revolving restaurant, and the Yuan Tao Hall. We stayed three nights and managed to try all three. Plus, the platform voucher included afternoon tea and happy hour—such an amazing value-add. Overall, this stay was everything we hoped for and more. Highly recommended.
