The owner’s food guide was incredibly helpful—we spent five full days exploring, but still couldn’t try every recommended spot. Definitely saving some for next time! Despite the lively streets just outside, the room itself was blissfully quiet, with zero noise from the bustling neighborhood. Perfect for me and my child, who both love peace and quiet. We didn’t even see the host much during our stay, which added to the sense of privacy. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a microwave, fridge, and washing machine—so convenient. If we missed breakfast, we’d just grab something from the market, store it in the fridge, and heat it up in the morning. No need to worry about supplies: high-quality toiletries were provided—shampoo, conditioner, body wash, facial cleanser, sunscreen, bath towels, tissues, makeup remover wipes, and even makeup remover water. Honestly, I regret packing so much stuff. The mineral water was also available in unlimited supply—no more asking for bottles like at other hotels. Cleaning standards? Impeccable. Not a single hair or speck on the floor—cleaner than my own home, even with pets. The design aesthetic is subtle yet thoughtful, exactly our style. We took a few photos because we loved the vibe so much. After leaving, friends kept asking where we stayed—definitely recommending this place. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the Huan Guang Gate Wall, and nearby Xiananmen Morning Market was closed during our visit (a bit disappointing), but getting to Sa Jin Qiao by taxi cost just the base fare. Despite being tucked into a lively alleyway, the guesthouse is remarkably quiet—perfect for a restful stay. Our family room was spacious, with a cozy balcony perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring. We were stuck indoors due to constant rain throughout the National Day holiday, so we couldn’t visit many attractions—but honestly, we didn’t mind at all. The atmosphere here made it feel like home. The host, a kind young man, went above and beyond with his warmth and attention to detail. I’m truly sorry if my kids caused any disturbance to other guests—I appreciate your understanding. If I ever return to Xi’an, this will absolutely be my top choice again. A gem hidden in plain sight.

I booked this place purely based on one photo, and I’m so glad I did—it completely lived up to the hype. Usually, pet-friendly hotels come with minor cleanliness concerns, especially for someone like me who’s prone to allergies, but I stayed for three nights with zero reactions—definitely a relief. While the front desk isn’t available 24/7, the rotating access codes and the incredibly thoughtful, personalized service from the staff more than made up for it. In a bustling city center, that level of care and attention really eases any worries about safety or service quality. The street below is a food lover’s paradise—plenty of options, all clean and delicious. I ended up chatting with the lovely hostess nonstop about animals and local eats; she’s such a great conversationalist, I kept finding reasons to stop by just to talk. The cats are absolutely adorable—little ear is shy, Six Six is super affectionate, but my favorite has to be Little Manager with her irresistibly cute face. If I ever return to Xi’an, you better believe I’ll head straight back here. No other hotel will even be in the running.
