Fuxin Hotel

I've stayed at this hotel twice during previous business trips to Qingdao, and now that I've retired and moved here permanently, I decided to bring two families for New Year's celebration. We booked three rooms, with one additional room arranged over the phone—unexpectedly upgraded to a suite! My newlyweds niece and her husband were absolutely thrilled. The original plan was to enjoy the famous buffet, but unfortunately all tables were fully booked when we tried to reserve—proof of just how popular it is! When we reserved a private dining room on the third floor, only a large 6-person space remained. Shortly after, Xiao Wei (Tán Wěi) kindly informed me that a smaller room had opened up—another delightful surprise. Huge thanks to Xiao Wei for her proactive hospitality! And special recognition to Han Xin Zhu, who provided dedicated service throughout our stay. Her warm smile, genuine care, and attention to every detail truly reflect the hotel’s commitment to guest comfort. From the moment we stepped in, we felt welcomed like family. Room soundproofing is excellent; I slept peacefully without any noise disturbances from neighboring rooms. But what really stood out was the hot water—plenty of it, and scalding hot! That made for an incredibly relaxing shower every time. The comfort, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches make this hotel a top choice in Qingdao. The hallway and bathroom could use a little update, but the room itself was spotless—so clean that even with my usual pickiness about hygiene, I felt completely at ease. The bedding was exceptionally clean and super comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Best of all, the view from the window is fantastic—overlooking May Fourth Square with great cityscape views during the day and beautiful lights at night.
