While the sea this year had some green algae, especially at First Beach, Third Beach is cleaner and less crowded—worth considering. Much cheaper than the seafood spots right below. I’d definitely book here again next time I visit Qingdao. It’s perfectly located near the zoo, Taiping Mountain, and the cable car ride—so much fun for families!
