The Italian restaurant Massa Fina on the ground floor is really great—way better than the main dining spot, Paris-Texas. The staff at Massa Fina are incredibly attentive and genuinely friendly; big thanks to Nicole for the excellent service! We had a wonderful stay overall, and if we ever come back to Porto, we’d definitely choose Vila Gale again. Great location, comfortable rooms, and fantastic food options make this hotel a top pick.

Located just off the city center in a quiet side street, Gallery Townhouse & Home is incredibly walkable—perfect for exploring Porto without needing a car. While there are paid parking options nearby, you really don’t need one here; most attractions are within easy walking distance. The property spans two charming townhouses facing each other, with one housing a cozy bar offering great drinks and snacks. Despite the road between them, it remains peaceful and tranquil throughout the day. The staff stands out—warm, helpful, and always ready to offer thoughtful recommendations. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and even though our building didn’t have an elevator (a small trade-off), the overall comfort was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and could be easily upgraded with free add-ons, making it feel much more generous than expected. A hidden gem is the small rear garden, tucked away from the street, where guests can relax in complete serenity—complete with a coffee machine for a morning brew. Porto’s hilly streets mean some uphill walks, so be prepared for a bit of fitness—but that’s part of the charm! There’s ongoing metro expansion nearby, which brings noise and dust, but the hotel stays completely unaffected. We were thoroughly impressed by the fair pricing, top-notch service, and the genuine sense of home. Highly recommended for travelers who value location, comfort, and authenticity.

This apartment was easily one of the best stays we've ever had. The photos on the platform matched exactly what we found—plus a few extra surprises! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed: cookware, dishes, utensils, and even little extras like spices and condiments—all in perfect condition. The directions were incredibly detailed, complete with clear photos that made finding the place effortless, especially when arriving by public transit. Located just steps from the city center, it's ideal for exploring Porto without hassle. We loved every moment here and will definitely return. A top-tier choice for anyone visiting!

This place was absolutely perfect! During our six-day stay in Porto, we explored the city center thoroughly and found Miragaia House to be in the most ideal location we could have hoped for. While the street along the riverfront can get busy during the day, it was peaceful at night thanks to excellent double glazing. The bed was incredibly comfortable—perfect for a good night’s sleep after a full day of sightseeing. Breakfast was outstanding: fresh fruit, yogurt, warm pastries, bread rolls, cured meats, cheeses, and eggs cooked exactly how you wanted them. Marta, Zuly, and their team were incredibly friendly and helpful—always ready to offer tips or assist with anything. We’ve already decided this is our go-to choice for Porto, and we’ll definitely be back!

Watching life unfold below from our private space was unforgettable. Hosts Christina and Filipe were incredibly responsive and helpful—from arranging airport transfers to giving us tips on navigating the narrow streets and avoiding traffic restrictions in the square. They even helped us store our luggage when we arrived earlier than expected. The queen-sized bed was super comfortable, and the elevator that goes straight to the door made getting in and out a breeze. (Just keep in mind: no elevators on the steep streets above!) One thing to note: there's no air conditioning, so we had to keep windows open during hot nights—while this brought in fresh air, it also meant some noise from the lively square, especially on weekends. Tall guests might find the shower area a bit tight. But honestly, these are minor trade-offs for such a perfect location and well-designed space. We loved walking along the Ribeira every day, strolling past the Palácio da Bolsa and up Rua das Flores. And don’t miss Miss Pavlova just across Rua de São João—only a 3-minute walk away. Their breakfast offerings are fantastic, and their pavlovas? Absolutely divine. This apartment isn’t just a place to stay—it’s part of the experience.

Even better, they welcomed us with a large bottle of mineral water upon arrival—a small but thoughtful touch. Everything about this stay felt personal and exceptional. Located in Zone 1, right in the heart of the historic city center, it’s just a short walk from the iconic Clerigos Tower. Our host Pedro was incredibly proactive and always ready to help with any request. The second-floor apartment was modern, spotless, and smelled fresh—perfect for a comfortable stay. It featured a spacious living area with a kitchenette and sofa bed, a cozy double bedroom, and a stunning marble bathroom with a generously sized shower (though the tile flooring could be slightly slippery at times). Furniture was high-quality, and linens and towels were provided—excellent attention to detail. One small suggestion: having a bottle of water in the fridge upon arrival would make guests feel even more welcomed. If arriving by car, avoid the underground garage at Jardim de Cordoaria—it’s expensive at around €80 per day. Instead, head to CC Bombarda/Parquet do Carregal, only about a 10-minute walk away, where parking costs just €15 daily and is covered and open 24/7. Just note that payment must be in cash. Overall, if you're looking for a central, stylish, and well-located place to stay in Porto, this apartment complex is a top choice. Highly recommended!

My only note: if you’re bringing heavy luggage, be prepared for a bit of a climb—this city is hilly, so packing light will save your legs for exploring the beautiful streets and sights.
