Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted with a complimentary bottle of Port wine—since I only wanted to taste a little, I returned the full bottle and received half a glass instead, which showed how attentive and flexible the staff are. Everything is so well-connected here: major attractions like the Douro River, São Francisco Church, and the old town are just a short walk away. Public transport is also easily accessible, making exploration effortless. This place truly offers an authentic local experience with excellent value for money. I’d definitely come back again.
