Our recent stay at Canto de Luz in Porto was absolutely perfect—especially with our 17-month-old toddler in tow. The location couldn’t be better: centrally situated but tucked away on a quiet street, making it peaceful yet walkable to everything. We found Porto much more stroller-friendly than Lisbon, which made exploring so much easier. We stayed in the ground-floor City Retreat suite, and it was ideal for our little one—spacious with a long hallway that gave him room to crawl and toddle safely. The pack ‘n play crib was spacious and comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling windows could be fully darkened, turning nap time into a breeze for both baby and parents. Breakfast each morning was a real highlight—fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully served. They even provided baby-safe cutlery and plates, a lovely touch we truly appreciated. The bright dining area with large windows overlooking the terrace set a joyful tone for every morning. While we didn’t get to use the heated pool due to the cooler weather, knowing it was there added a nice bonus. The staff went above and beyond—Susan was always just a WhatsApp message away, and Joanna greeted us warmly each day. They even had baby formula ready upon our late arrival, saving us from rushing to the store. Small details like the towel warmer, easy-to-use laundry facilities, intuitive lighting controls, and an incredibly comfortable bed made all the difference. This wasn’t just a hotel stay—it felt like a home away from home. We loved every moment and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend Canto de Luz to any family visiting Porto.

Stayed for four nights in June and absolutely loved it. The location was perfect—just a short walk from the metro station, making travel to and from the airport super convenient. Our apartment was on the top floor of a beautifully renovated townhouse, complete with a spacious balcony overlooking a quiet garden. The space felt cozy and well-designed: comfortable bedding, a compact kitchenette, a comfy sofa, and a clean, functional shower area. Even the small hairdryer was a nice touch—always appreciated! We arrived early and were given the room right away, which was a pleasant surprise. While the apartment is up a few flights of stairs (the wooden staircase with a skylight at the top was actually a highlight!), it added a bit of charm and kept us active. The neighborhood was fantastic—plenty of supermarkets, shopping centers, cafes, and a lively food market nearby. A 3-day transport pass made it easy to hop on the metro and buses when we didn’t feel like walking, especially since we were a bit outside the main tourist hub. That said, being just far enough out gave us a great balance—we could easily dip into the city center when needed, but also enjoy quieter, local vibes. We’d already explored the heart of Porto before, so this stay felt like a relaxed retreat with plenty to discover nearby. Carla, the staff member, was incredibly helpful and welcoming—always ready to assist. Overall, a standout experience with excellent value and a unique urban-chic vibe.

Stayed in a duplex suite and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The hotel’s location along the riverfront is unbeatable—historic Tram 1 runs right past the entrance, adding a charming touch to the atmosphere. Housed in a beautifully restored former convent, the property blends historical character with modern elegance. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of Porto wine and a delicious Pastel de Nata—such a warm welcome. Each room came with a water bottle and refill options, which I appreciated for sustainability. Breakfast was abundant, varied, and genuinely fresh—different pastries every morning made each day feel special. Staff were attentive, professional, and always smiling. We dined at the hotel’s restaurant one evening and had an excellent meal, followed by drinks at the rooftop bar—perfect for sunset views. I also booked three massage sessions with Sofia, a truly skilled and gentle therapist who made me completely unwind. One highlight? The complimentary bikes provided by the hotel—ideal for a relaxed ride all the way to the ocean. It felt like exploring the city at my own pace. Four days flew by, but they were unforgettable. I already miss it and hope to return soon.

The host recommended a nearby parking lot about four blocks away, which is also paid but more reliable. It’s worth noting if you’re arriving by car. Overall, the location is excellent—close to public transit and city attractions—and the value for money is strong. A great option if you're looking for a quiet, convenient base in Porto.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Feel Porto Downtown Apartments & Studios. Even though the studio was independent and didn’t have a front desk or on-site staff, the check-in process was smooth and welcoming—the team greeted us personally and provided excellent support throughout our visit. Communication via WhatsApp was quick and efficient—any question we had was answered promptly. The apartment itself was spotless, well-designed, and comfortably furnished with everything we needed. Its central location made exploring the city effortless. For the price, it’s a fantastic value and highly recommended. I’d definitely book here again when visiting Porto.

The only minor downside was some noise from the street late into the night—parties going on until around 3 AM, which is not uncommon on weekends. This apartment was easily one of the best stays we've ever had. The photos on the platform matched exactly what we found—plus a few extra surprises! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed: cookware, dishes, utensils, and even little extras like spices and condiments—all in perfect condition. The directions were incredibly detailed, complete with clear photos that made finding the place effortless, especially when arriving by public transit. Located just steps from the city center, it's ideal for exploring Porto without hassle. We loved every moment here and will definitely return. A top-tier choice for anyone visiting!

This place was absolutely perfect! During our six-day stay in Porto, we explored the city center thoroughly and found Miragaia House to be in the most ideal location we could have hoped for. The room was tastefully simple with a cozy charm—featuring a small kitchenette and fridge that made storing local delicacies like cheese, ham, and port wine incredibly convenient. While the street along the riverfront can get busy during the day, it was peaceful at night thanks to excellent double glazing. The bed was incredibly comfortable—perfect for a good night’s sleep after a full day of sightseeing. Breakfast was outstanding: fresh fruit, yogurt, warm pastries, bread rolls, cured meats, cheeses, and eggs cooked exactly how you wanted them. Marta, Zuly, and their team were incredibly friendly and helpful—always ready to offer tips or assist with anything. We’ve already decided this is our go-to choice for Porto, and we’ll definitely be back!
