It’s a bit further from the Opera House and main shopping streets. But if you enjoy walking, the area is well-connected with scenic pathways, greenery, and plenty of local charm along the way. It’s actually a great opportunity to stretch your legs while soaking in the city vibe. All in all, this hotel offers excellent value, comfort, and convenience. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney.
I stumbled upon this place on Instagram and was instantly drawn to the botanical-inspired interior and overall vibe—had to book it! Since I wanted easy access to both downtown Sydney and Bondi Beach, this location was perfect. 😆 (That said, if you're not planning to visit the beach, this spot might not be ideal.) There’s a shopping mall nearby, so everything I needed was within reach—no inconvenience at all. I’m traveling solo, and accidentally left my key in the room when checking out. I was really stressed, but just rang the bell outside and the staff responded immediately—super helpful and kind. I felt bad since it was off-hours, but they still went out of their way to assist me. Thank you so much! 🥲 I’d absolutely stay here again if I ever come back to Sydney!

Housekeeping isn’t daily, and coffee/tea supplies aren’t replenished every day—likely to minimize disturbance—but if you leave a note at the front desk, they respond promptly and take care of everything. Just be aware that the front desk is unstaffed before 8 AM and after 6 PM, so always carry your key card. We accidentally returned late once and had to wait outside until someone came by—so definitely keep it safe. Overall, the location is excellent, the atmosphere peaceful, and the value for money is outstanding. A real hidden gem in Sydney.
