JI Hotel (Changsha Furong Middle Road Ancient Kaifu Temple)

This was my first stay at a JI Hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised by how high up the building is—located on the 13A floor of a 52-story tower. The elevator was incredibly fast, so there was no waiting time at all, which made getting to my room a breeze. The location is excellent: just a short walk from Kaifu Temple Metro Station (Line 1), making it super convenient for travelers like us exploring Changsha. It's also close to major attractions like Wuyi Square and busy shopping streets. Around the hotel, you’ll find plenty of local eateries, a supermarket, and even a specialty store selling authentic Hunan snacks—perfect for picking up souvenirs. For under 300 RMB, the value here is outstanding. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with a great mattress and pillows that made for a restful night. Breakfast was a highlight—varied, fresh, and featured some delicious local favorites like stinky tofu and rice noodles. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. Overall, this was an exceptional experience, and I’d definitely book again.

ST-Tropez Hotel

We came to Changsha for a concert and stayed at ST-Tropez Hotel — and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in China. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, offering thoughtful recommendations on nearby attractions and even giving us a nice welcome gift. The complimentary shuttle service was super convenient — just call, and they’d arrive right away. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with a peaceful atmosphere, and our room was spotless, fully equipped, and very comfortable. What really stood out was the personal touch from our dedicated housekeeper, Xiao Tang. She reached out before check-in to ask about our preferences, made sure everything was ready, and even brought fresh fruit upon arrival. She followed up throughout our stay to see how we were doing — so thoughtful and genuinely caring. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality. I’ll definitely recommend this place to friends and will be back again soon.

Staying at the Exotic W Hotel in Changsha was an absolute delight. Located in the heart of the West District, it's just a short metro ride from Yuelu Mountain—perfect for nature lovers. The neighborhood is packed with great local eateries, convenience stores, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Getting to the main shopping district is easy via metro, making travel stress-free. The room itself was spotless, beautifully designed with smart technology that made everything convenient. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom featured excellent dry-wet separation—a real plus. I also appreciated the on-site gym and laundry facilities, which added extra convenience. Breakfast was a highlight—plenty of variety, and my kids were thrilled with the options. Overall, this hotel offers outstanding value, comfort, and location. Definitely going back next time!

The hotel staff, especially Ella the concierge, went above and beyond—she patiently answered all our questions about transportation, local cuisine, and must-visit attractions, even sending us a detailed itinerary before check-in. Our room was upgraded free of charge by the front desk team, which made the stay even more special. On January 2nd, the housekeeping staff left a sweet handwritten note with a small gift—so thoughtful! Though I didn’t get a photo, it truly warmed my heart. The location is unbeatable: just a short walk to both Line 2 and Line 6 of the metro, making it super easy to explore downtown Changsha. Everything from service to convenience was top-notch. This place isn’t just a hotel—it’s a home away from home. Definitely coming back next time.

Changsha North Star International Hotel

The hotel is brand new and the facilities are top-notch—everything you could want is available, from modern amenities to thoughtful touches throughout. The room was spotless and meticulously cleaned every day; the housekeeping staff were attentive and proactive. What really stood out was the location—right on the banks of the Xiang River. I could enjoy the stunning nighttime light show across both sides of the river from my window—absolutely breathtaking. The service was exceptional too, especially the front desk staff member, Xiao Cao. I accidentally left an item behind, and she reached out immediately to arrange shipping it back to me. That kind of care goes a long way. This place exceeded all expectations—great value, fantastic atmosphere, and unforgettable views. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Changsha.
