And the location? Perfect. Right next to the high-speed rail station, making travel in and around Guilin super convenient. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this hotel offers excellent value and top-notch service. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Staying at the Holiday Inn Express Guilin City Center was a great experience overall, especially thanks to its unbeatable location. Just a short walk from major attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill, the Two Rivers and Four Lakes area, the ancient Jingjiang Prince's Mansion, and the vibrant East-West Lane district, I found it incredibly convenient to explore the city on foot—most sights were within a 15 to 30-minute stroll. The hotel’s modern design and friendly staff added to the positive vibe. That said, there are a few areas that could use improvement: the USB charging ports by the bed didn’t work, the toilet flush lever was too stiff and slightly risky to operate, and hot water took quite a while to come out in the morning—this not only caused inconvenience but also wasted water. I’d also expected a complimentary fruit platter as promised, but it never arrived. Still, despite these small issues, the breakfast was satisfying with light, fresh options, and the value for money is excellent. With some upgrades—especially faster hot water delivery to save resources and reduce waste—I believe this hotel has strong potential to become one of the top choices for travelers visiting Guilin.

There were toys for kids, and the bathroom even had a child-sized stool and kid-friendly soap, which made things so much easier for parents. Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the pedestrian street, and within easy reach of major attractions like Jingjiang Wangfu, Liangjiang Sihu, and Elephant Trunk Hill. We especially loved the breakfast on the 6th floor—panoramic views of the river, and on sunny days, sipping coffee while soaking up the sunshine was pure bliss. This hotel offers great value, excellent service, and unbeatable convenience. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guilin.

This has been the most satisfying stay at a B&B I’ve ever had. Before arrival, Sister Jiang reached out via WeChat and arranged airport pickup—her service was exceptional from start to finish. Originally booked for just two nights, I ended up extending by another two because the experience was so relaxing and enjoyable. Throughout my trip, her travel tips were spot-on and genuinely helpful, making everything smoother. The property is spacious with plenty of common areas—on the upper floor there’s a laundry room and drying area, and if you’re too busy, the staff even washes and dries your clothes for you. She invited us to sing karaoke in the cozy basement lounge, which made for a perfect evening after a day of exploring. Sitting in the garden or lounging in the main hall, chatting or just zoning out, felt like pure bliss. The garden is full of lush plants and flowers, and there's a giant tree towering over the yard—almost like a small forest! Two adorable little cats wander around the grounds, adding charm to the atmosphere. There’s also a private karaoke room and a dedicated mahjong room, ideal for group fun. Nearby, Fuyuanju’s oil tea is absolutely delicious—rich, aromatic, and warming. And right outside the door, you can rent bikes with a simple QR code scan, making it super easy to visit places like Dongxi Alley and Elephant Trunk Hill. Room amenities are top-notch: everything is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped—including high-quality disposable items and even toilet seat covers. Heating, hot water, and overall cleanliness were all excellent. If it weren’t for work pulling me back, I’d have stayed much longer. This stay truly exceeded expectations. I’ll definitely come back and highly recommend this place to friends. A memorable trip from start to finish!
