Staying at Shangri-La Guilin was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Our guest host Emily went above and beyond—she reached out in advance to learn about our preferences and even prepared thoughtful little amenities for our child. The housekeeping staff, Jongche, was incredibly attentive, personally escorting us to our room and giving a detailed walk-through of the hotel’s facilities with genuine warmth. The room itself beautifully blends modern comfort with traditional northern Guangxi charm—our bed was so cozy we slept like babies all night. But the real highlight? The evening view: as dusk fell, the river lights gently lit up the scene outside our window, turning the Li River into a shimmering canvas. Absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast was fantastic—wide variety, delicious quality—and the local beer fish at the Chinese restaurant was authentic and mouthwatering. Pool attendant Tang Jundong was patient and welcoming, guiding us straight to the pool area with a smile. Every touch felt personal, every service thoughtful. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s a home away from home. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back.

Located right in the heart of the city, it's just a 2-3 km ride from Guilin Railway Station, and a quick taxi or short walk gets you there. It’s also within a 10-minute stroll to Elephant Trunk Hill and the bustling Zhengyang Pedestrian Street—super convenient for exploring the area. We stayed on the family-friendly floor, and the room was spacious and thoughtfully designed for children. The room came with a bunk bed featuring a slide, a kid-sized table, a mini tent, a rocking horse, and even a large bathtub—perfect for soaking after a long day of sightseeing. The hallway had a dedicated kids’ play zone, where our little one played non-stop and refused to leave! Breakfast at the 9th-floor restaurant was fantastic—plenty of local favorites like Guilin rice noodles, small wontons, and authentic oil tea, all fresh and delicious. The staff were incredibly helpful too—from assisting with luggage to offering laundry service. They washed, dried, and returned our clothes neatly folded to our room. No need to lift a finger! The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. Just a short walk away from a fantastic roast duck spot—perfect for a quick dinner without having to search far. From here, it’s an easy stroll to Xiangshan Park and the Moon and Sun Towers, making sightseeing so convenient and saving us a lot of time. The staff were incredibly professional and attentive, even upgrading our room at no extra cost—such a thoughtful touch! The view from the room overlooks the river and the city skyline, offering stunning scenery every morning. Breakfast was excellent—plenty of options and great quality—and the dining area was spacious and well-organized. What really surprised me was discovering that this hotel is actually a stop on the airport shuttle route. We left early for the airport, and it made getting there so much easier. The Wi-Fi name is a bit funny, but connecting was straightforward and reliable. Overall, this place is a top choice for anyone visiting Guilin City. It’s convenient, comfortable, and offers real value—highly recommend!

Great experience from start to finish! The hotel is perfectly located near the train station and just a short walk from Wanda City, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and had all the essentials we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable—woke up feeling refreshed. The bedding feels luxurious and the overall cleanliness is outstanding; it’s clear they pay attention to detail. The modern decor gives a fresh, inviting vibe. What really stood out was the bathroom: spacious, with excellent dry-wet separation, and the shower area is huge with strong water pressure and consistent temperature—perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day. The smart toilet is a game-changer, especially for those with digestive concerns—it’s incredibly convenient and thoughtful. I also appreciated the on-site laundry facility with both washing and drying machines, plus all the necessary detergents provided—no need to worry about dirty clothes during your trip. Breakfast is well-rounded with a good mix of options, and the late-night snack bar offering free sweet rice porridge and desserts is such a nice surprise. It’s a little gem that delivers exceptional value and comfort. I’ll definitely be back.

Breakfast was a highlight—plenty of fresh options with delicious flavors that made mornings so enjoyable. Located just steps from the high-speed rail station, it’s incredibly convenient for travel, yet tucked into a quiet neighborhood where you can truly relax. I’ve already recommended it to friends and will definitely be back on my next trip to Guilin. This place truly feels like home—warm, welcoming, and unforgettable.

Staying at Wing Hotel was an absolute delight. The room was spotless, spacious, and perfect for a family—featuring a large bed and a tatami-style area that comfortably accommodated three adults. There were toys for kids, and the bathroom even had a child-sized stool and kid-friendly soap, which made things so much easier for parents. Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the pedestrian street, and within easy reach of major attractions like Jingjiang Wangfu, Liangjiang Sihu, and Elephant Trunk Hill. We especially loved the breakfast on the 6th floor—panoramic views of the river, and on sunny days, sipping coffee while soaking up the sunshine was pure bliss. This hotel offers great value, excellent service, and unbeatable convenience. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guilin.

Vienna International Hotel (Guilin station Hongling Road shop)

I've stayed at several Vienna International Hotel properties over the years, but this one near Guilin Station on Hongling Road truly stood out. The room was spotless and well-equipped, with a comfortable king-sized bed that made for a restful night's sleep. The view from the window was incredible—open vistas of Guilin’s iconic mountains, so even if you don’t go out, you still feel immersed in the scenery. Breakfast was a highlight: a wide variety of dishes, and the rice noodles were especially delicious—warm, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Location-wise, it’s ideal for exploring downtown Guilin; walking or taking the metro is super convenient. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, making the check-in experience pleasant. Cleanliness is top-notch—everything felt fresh and hygienic, giving me that ‘home away from home’ vibe. For the price, the value is outstanding. If you’re visiting Guilin and want a reliable, comfortable, and well-located stay, this hotel is definitely worth considering. I’ll be back.

Huayu Hotel

Staying at Huayu Hotel (Guilin High-Speed Railway North Station Branch) was a great experience overall. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and made check-in and check-out super smooth—no waiting, just quick and efficient. I was on the 23rd floor, and the room itself was spacious—around 30 square meters—with a fantastic view from the window; you can see the surrounding hills clearly, which added to the peaceful vibe. The air conditioning worked perfectly for both heating and cooling, and the shower had strong hot water flow, so no issues with temperature or pressure. One thing to note: the building is shared between several hotels and residential units, so you need two cards—one for the elevator and one for the room door. It’s a bit of an extra step, but it does enhance security. Parking is limited since it's shared with nearby apartments, so if you're driving, plan ahead or consider taking public transit. All in all, this place offers excellent value, great location near the high-speed rail station, and a comfortable stay—highly recommend!

Guilin Moyeh Artistic Movie Homestay (Two Rivers and Four Lakes Dongxi Lane)

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and helped with check-in in no time. The room was spacious, bright, and immaculately clean—everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The bedding was super comfortable, and I slept like a baby all night. All amenities were thoughtfully provided, from high-speed Wi-Fi to a well-stocked mini-fridge and quality toiletries. It’s clear the attention to detail really sets this place apart. For the price, the value is outstanding. I’d 100% book here again on my next trip to Guilin—it’s truly a hidden gem.
