Breakfast was fantastic—wide variety, delicious quality—and the local beer fish at the Chinese restaurant was authentic and mouthwatering. Pool attendant Tang Jundong was patient and welcoming, guiding us straight to the pool area with a smile. Every touch felt personal, every service thoughtful. We stayed on the family-friendly floor, and the room was spacious and thoughtfully designed for children. The room came with a bunk bed featuring a slide, a kid-sized table, a mini tent, a rocking horse, and even a large bathtub—perfect for soaking after a long day of sightseeing. The hallway had a dedicated kids’ play zone, where our little one played non-stop and refused to leave! Breakfast at the 9th-floor restaurant was fantastic—plenty of local favorites like Guilin rice noodles, small wontons, and authentic oil tea, all fresh and delicious. The staff were incredibly helpful too—from assisting with luggage to offering laundry service. They washed, dried, and returned our clothes neatly folded to our room. No need to lift a finger! The rooftop pool and panoramic viewing deck are stunning spots for photos—every shot looks like a scene from a classic Chinese painting. The Secret Courtyard Hotel in Guilin is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, Xiaoming made us feel right at home with his exceptional hospitality. We opted for the Longji Rice Terraces package, which included a private driver/guide—what a fantastic way to explore the stunning landscapes. Free shuttle service from Guilin North Station to the hotel made our arrival stress-free, and another direct transfer took us straight to Yangshuo. The hotel also provided an electric scooter for city exploration—such a fun and convenient touch! Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, while breakfast was delicious and well-balanced. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, leaving us with zero complaints. This place truly goes above and beyond. I can’t recommend it enough—perfect for travelers who value comfort, authenticity, and thoughtful service.
