When I went to use the self-service laundry the next day, it was already full. Instead of waiting, the staff member kindly offered me a spot and even took care of the laundry for me. When it was done, my clothes were returned neatly folded and packed—such a thoughtful touch! The service was incredibly prompt and genuinely welcoming. As a food lover, I was thrilled by the dining options: breakfast featured fresh, crisp ice lettuce—my absolute favorite. Taxis never cost more than $20, making it super convenient for travelers on a budget. This hotel delivers an excellent balance of comfort, service, and value—definitely a top pick if you're visiting Guilin.

That kind of service is rare and truly impressive. The facilities are top-notch, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the attention to detail made all the difference. My kids had a blast exploring the space and even asked if we could stay longer. Everything—from the warm welcome to the thoughtful touches—makes me want to come back again. Dinner was equally impressive, with delicious local flavors and well-prepared dishes. Staff were attentive and responsive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered. I’d definitely book here again next time I visit Guilin.

Breakfast was fantastic—wide variety, delicious quality—and the local beer fish at the Chinese restaurant was authentic and mouthwatering. Pool attendant Tang Jundong was patient and welcoming, guiding us straight to the pool area with a smile. Every touch felt personal, every service thoughtful. As soon as we arrived, a staff member greeted us at the door, opened the car door, and helped with our luggage—such thoughtful hospitality! It’s clear this team goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. I’ll definitely be returning.

It’s also within a 10-minute stroll to Elephant Trunk Hill and the bustling Zhengyang Pedestrian Street—super convenient for exploring the area. We stayed on the family-friendly floor, and the room was spacious and thoughtfully designed for children. The room came with a bunk bed featuring a slide, a kid-sized table, a mini tent, a rocking horse, and even a large bathtub—perfect for soaking after a long day of sightseeing. The hallway had a dedicated kids’ play zone, where our little one played non-stop and refused to leave! Breakfast at the 9th-floor restaurant was fantastic—plenty of local favorites like Guilin rice noodles, small wontons, and authentic oil tea, all fresh and delicious. The staff were incredibly helpful too—from assisting with luggage to offering laundry service. They washed, dried, and returned our clothes neatly folded to our room. No need to lift a finger! The rooftop pool and panoramic viewing deck are stunning spots for photos—every shot looks like a scene from a classic Chinese painting. We stayed at Tailian Hotel during our trip to Guilin, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Upon check-in, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade to a spacious room featuring a bathtub—our kids absolutely loved taking nightly baths, and the hotel even provided disposable bathtub covers for hygiene. The staff followed our special request for a non-smoking room and had all the baby essentials ready, including toys and baby-safe amenities. The room was spotless, fresh, and free of any unpleasant odors—very important when traveling with little ones. They also offered a free baby stroller, which made navigating the city much easier. The lobby served complimentary loquat tea, a local favorite, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic—varied, fresh, and well-prepared with both Western and Chinese options. Perfect for fueling up before heading out to explore nearby attractions like Li River and Elephant Trunk Hill. While there’s no full-length mirror or extendable makeup mirror in the room, this minor detail didn’t detract from the overall experience. The location is unbeatable—everything is within walking distance, and there are countless restaurants just steps away. With excellent service, great value, and family-friendly facilities, we’ll definitely be returning next time we visit Guilin. Highly recommended!
