Easy. A few more steps and you’re at Tiananmen Square’s security checkpoint. Every trip out and back felt smooth and stress-free, and my mom kept praising me for picking such a great spot 😊. The photo in p6 shows the entrance near the dental clinic—yes, construction barriers in Xidan are hiding the front sign, but once you know where to look, it’s easy to find. Staff were fantastic too. When I asked if we could get a room upgrade for our week-long stay, the front desk girl handled it instantly. On day one, the shower drain was slow—I reported it, and they fixed it right away. By day five, it came back slightly clogged, but not bad enough to bother them again. Breakfast was a highlight: lots of variety, both Chinese and Western options. My favorites?
