However, the experience didn’t live up to expectations beyond that. As soon as I stepped out of the elevator, I noticed a strong sewer-like smell in the hallway—very off-putting. The room itself was clean enough, but even after opening the window for a while, the air still carried that unpleasant odor. Breakfast was another letdown—exactly what’s shown in the photos, nothing more, nothing less. It felt rushed and uninspired, lacking variety or quality. While the location is a solid plus, the overall comfort and hygiene leave much to be desired. For travelers without specific medical needs, there are definitely better options. If the hotel improves ventilation, cleaning routines, and breakfast offerings, it could become a more appealing choice.

The location is super convenient: just a short walk to Zhongri Friendship Hospital and nearby to the University of International Business and Economics. Public transportation is easily accessible, and there are plenty of dining options and convenience stores around. Perfect for families traveling with children, and great value for money. It's conveniently located just outside the Northeast 3rd Ring Road, with easy access to subway stations nearby—perfect if you're relying on public transit. Driving in? Parking is only 40 RMB per day, which is very reasonable. Right now, the lobby is beautifully decorated with a stunning Christmas tree and festive touches throughout—definitely sets a cheerful mood. The elevators automatically light up your floor when you swipe your key card—a nice tech touch. Room space is generous, clean, and well-organized, with both shower and bathtub available. Even small details like alcohol wipes, toilet seat covers, and bath mats were thoughtfully provided. Only minor note: the hairdryer wasn’t the most powerful. The rooftop lounge on the 23rd floor offers afternoon tea and happy hour for guests with privileges—great for unwinding. Breakfast at the ground-floor restaurant was fantastic: a wide variety of coffee options, freshly made, plus an unexpected highlight—hard-boiled eggs already peeled! There’s also a great selection of soups, main dishes, desserts, and drinks. The 25-meter pool is spacious and well-maintained, offering a peaceful retreat. Staff service was excellent throughout—special thanks to Alice at reception, who was incredibly helpful and friendly. Overall, this was one of the best stays I’ve had in Beijing, and I’ll definitely be back.
