Our stay at Yonge Suites was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported—especially during a tough time. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care truly made a difference. The apartment itself was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of space to relax after a long day. Everything was well-maintained, from the furnishings to the kitchen amenities. The location is fantastic—close to transit, shopping, and dining, yet quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. We felt safe, respected, and well taken care of throughout our entire visit. This wasn’t just a place to stay—it felt like home. I can’t recommend Yonge Suites highly enough, and we’ll definitely be returning in the future.
I was expecting a more enclosed campus feel since it's part of the University of Toronto, but turns out the university is completely open-air with no walls—so no sense of being 'inside' like a traditional dorm. I'd read some negative reviews beforehand, so I went in with low expectations. But room 5062 actually exceeded my hopes. It’s spacious—like two single rooms combined, with one bed on each side, plus individual wardrobes and desks. There’s just one small window that opens slightly, and near the window, there’s a ventilation vent that gently blows air through the room—really helpful for airflow. The bed frame is narrow and shallow, and the mattress is on the thinner side, but still comfortable enough. Only one blanket comes with the room, stored in the closet, which is fine. What stands out most is the layout: unlike the long corridor style seen in many Chinese dorms, this feels more like a honeycomb structure—each room is tucked away independently, offering better privacy and a unique vibe. The shared female bathroom right outside the door has around ten sinks, toilets, and showers—all spotlessly clean. Check-in time is strict at 3 PM, which makes sense since this isn’t a hotel and operations run slower. I asked a few times if the room was ready, and got replies like 'still being cleaned,' but considering the $100 price point, it’s totally reasonable. Plus, you’re literally steps from Chinatown (Great China Mall), so food and shopping are super convenient. Overall, this experience gave me a real taste of what student life at Canada’s top-tier university feels like—authentic, practical, and surprisingly good value.
Staying at Comfy Guest House was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The entire place is spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. I loved how close it was to downtown Toronto—just a short walk to the subway, making it super easy to explore the city without needing a car. Public transport access is excellent, and there are plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops right outside the door. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room itself was quiet, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished. It’s rare to find such a great balance between comfort, convenience, and value. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Toronto.
Staying at Movich Hotel was an absolute delight! The condo offers breathtaking views of downtown Toronto—perfect for watching the sunset or enjoying a quiet morning coffee. Felix, the staff member I interacted with, was incredibly responsive and helpful whenever I had questions—always prompt and friendly. The location is fantastic: just a short walk to Eaton Centre, making shopping and dining super convenient. Ubers are always available within minutes, which made getting around town effortless. With such great service, stunning views, and unbeatable convenience, this hotel truly delivers on every front. I’d definitely book again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Toronto.
Staying at Samesun Toronto was an absolute delight! I was pleasantly surprised that towels were provided free of charge—no extra hassle or cost. The four-person room was spacious, with air conditioning and bedside curtains for privacy, making it super comfortable to sleep in. The place was incredibly quiet throughout the night—despite two other guests arriving late, there was no disturbance at all. I suspect it’s because we didn’t encounter any loud sleepers, but overall, the peaceful atmosphere made for a restful stay. Bathing and bathroom facilities were clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus. After checking out, I realized how close the hotel is to the University of Toronto—just a short walk away. Plus, being located right in Chinatown means plenty of familiar signage, great food options, and convenient access to local shops. It’s such a smart, affordable choice for travelers who value comfort, cleanliness, and location. Definitely planning to come back!
Stayed for a few nights in the Deluxe Twin Room and was thoroughly impressed. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The staff went above and beyond with their warm and attentive service, making the experience feel truly special. Location-wise, it's unbeatable—right in the heart of Yorkville, steps away from top restaurants, boutiques, and attractions. Public transit access is also excellent. The only downside? The price is on the higher end, but considering everything else, it’s worth every penny. One thing to note: there’s ongoing construction just below the lobby, so if you're sensitive to noise, I’d recommend requesting a higher floor. We stayed on the 15th floor and had zero disturbance—perfect for a peaceful night’s sleep. Overall, an exceptional stay that exceeded expectations. Will definitely be back.
My stay at Fairmont Royal York Hotel was absolutely outstanding! From the moment I walked in, the service was impeccable—friendly, efficient, and genuinely attentive. The location couldn’t be better, just steps away from major attractions and downtown Toronto’s vibrant energy. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, with a plush bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the hotel, like the complimentary welcome drink and the well-curated minibar. Breakfast was a highlight—fresh, diverse, and delicious. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this hotel delivers on every level. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Toronto. A true gem in the city!
My entire stay was fantastic! The check-in process was seamless and effortless. I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade to one featuring a balcony—though the view wasn’t much to write home about (just a glass facade above, so you’re mostly looking up). Still, the space felt spacious and well-designed. The room itself was incredibly comfortable, especially the bed—perfect for a good night’s sleep. The hotel boasts heated floors, but despite leaving the feature on for about 30 minutes, I didn’t notice any difference in temperature. That said, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. The ambiance is modern and calming, staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the location makes exploring downtown Toronto easy—just a short walk or quick transit ride away. For the quality, comfort, and service, this place truly delivers. Definitely coming back.
Had the pleasure of staying at Shangri-La Toronto, and it truly stands out among all the hotels I've experienced in the city. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome with a complimentary fruit platter set the tone for an exceptional stay. What impressed me most was their attention to detail—housekeeping came at my preferred time, so I never had to worry about interruptions. The staff were courteous, professional, and genuinely attentive without being overbearing. The room was spacious, elegantly designed, and perfectly quiet, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Located just steps away from public transit, I found it easy to explore downtown, shopping areas, and great restaurants. The overall experience was beyond expectations—luxurious yet welcoming, and every little touch made me feel valued. If you're visiting Toronto, this is absolutely the place to stay. I’ll definitely be returning.
Staying at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto was an absolute highlight of my trip to Canada. From the moment I walked in, the elegant ambiance and impeccable service set the tone for a memorable experience. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from downtown attractions, shopping districts, and public transit, making it easy to explore the city. My room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, with plush bedding that made for a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was a standout—diverse and delicious, offering everything from fresh pastries and local specialties to classic continental options. The quality of ingredients was obvious, and the presentation was flawless. Every detail, from the attention to service to the serene atmosphere, made this stay feel truly special. It’s rare to find such luxury combined with genuine hospitality, and I’d absolutely return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Toronto.
Staying at The Hazelton Hotel was an absolute delight. The location is perfect—just a short walk from downtown Toronto’s main attractions, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes right outside the door. I loved being able to explore on foot without needing to rely on transportation. The staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Everything about the stay felt luxurious yet personal. It’s rare to find such a high level of service combined with convenience and comfort. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next visit to Toronto.
Staying at The St. Regis Toronto for two nights was an overall excellent experience. While check-in had a minor hiccup—my ICBC credit card, booked through Trip.com, initially couldn’t be authorized (which never happened at other hotels abroad)—I ended up using my Australian card instead. Surprisingly, after processing the payment, the system suddenly accepted the ICBC card. Staff were patient and professional throughout, making the situation feel seamless. The highlight? A $80 daily breakfast credit redeemable at Louis Louix restaurant or private dining in-room. The in-room dining was elegant and perfectly executed—great ambiance, delicious food, and attentive service. Located just steps from downtown transit hubs, it’s incredibly convenient. Despite the initial card issue, the luxury, comfort, and attention to detail made this stay truly memorable. Definitely planning to return.
