It’s rare to find such a great balance between city convenience and hotel tranquility. I’ll definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Dongmen or when visiting the Guomao area. I initially booked this hotel just because I had to, and honestly, I was a bit skeptical since it was renovated back in 2018—thought the rooms might feel dated. But wow, I was pleasantly surprised! The room layout is excellent, with amazing views that make the stay so enjoyable. The location is fantastic—there are so many great food delivery options nearby, and the robot room service is a real game-changer. Super convenient and adds a fun tech touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful too. Special thanks to Molly, Cavan, and Louise—they checked availability for my potential room extension before I even asked, which showed such thoughtfulness. The place was spotless, way cleaner than I expected. Overall, this exceeded all my expectations. Definitely worth staying at if you're in Shenzhen.

Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen

Stayed at Shangri-La, Shenzhen Futian on Christmas Eve and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Booked a double room with an excellent package that included Häagen-Dazs afternoon tea and breakfast for two adults and one child—great value for money. While the hotel’s interior design isn’t overly modern, the ambiance is warm and inviting, with a subtle, pleasant fragrance throughout the lobby and corridors. The room was spotless, with zero unpleasant odors—just clean and comfortable. I noticed many international guests during my stay, which speaks volumes about the hotel’s global appeal. The buffet breakfast area may not have the flashiest decor, but the service truly stood out. The manager and staff were attentive, friendly, and proactive—always checking in, refilling drinks, and ensuring everything was well-organized. It felt like being treated like a regular guest rather than just another booking. From the welcoming atmosphere to the thoughtful touches, this stay exceeded expectations. If you're looking for a reliable, well-run hotel with genuine hospitality in Shenzhen, this one is definitely worth considering.
