Even though it's located near the bustling Dongmen area, the hotel itself feels brand new and well-maintained, with a fantastic array of local eateries just steps away. We tried a cozy Chaoshan-style restaurant for some stir-fried dishes—so flavorful and fresh—and later enjoyed a rich, silky Shunde double-yolk milk pudding that was pure bliss. The lobby on the 6th floor is spacious and stylishly designed, giving off a modern, welcoming vibe from the moment you walk in. What really stood out? The front desk staff—warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. I’d mentioned in my reservation that I needed an extra blanket, and they proactively confirmed it had already been delivered to my room before I even arrived. That kind of proactive service is rare—most hotels make you ask twice, then wait around for it. My room was generously sized, with a view of the high-speed trains slowly pulling into the station. Amazing scenery, yet completely quiet—no noise at all. The bedding was comfortable, and the shower even had a built-in seat, which made rinsing off after a long day so much more relaxing. The room layout and lighting design felt upscale and thoughtfully crafted. Honestly, this hotel exceeded my expectations. If I ever come back to Shenzhen, this will be my top pick—truly a standout gem.

Breakfast was excellent: a wide variety of options, fresh and tasty, especially the local-style congee and freshly baked bread. It’s rare to find such a great balance between city convenience and hotel tranquility. I’ll definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Dongmen or when visiting the Guomao area. Dining was another highlight—the afternoon tea was beautifully presented, and the Japanese restaurant, Songyi Teppanyaki, delivered an outstanding meal with perfect seasoning and presentation. The location is fantastic—there are so many great food delivery options nearby, and the robot room service is a real game-changer. Super convenient and adds a fun tech touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful too. Special thanks to Molly, Cavan, and Louise—they checked availability for my potential room extension before I even asked, which showed such thoughtfulness. The place was spotless, way cleaner than I expected. Overall, this exceeded all my expectations. Definitely worth staying at if you're in Shenzhen.
