The hotel's location is excellent—just a 20-minute walk to the Old Port, passing through lively neighborhoods that make the journey enjoyable. It’s also conveniently close to the train station, making travel around Marseille super easy. The breakfast was hands down the best part of our trip to France—wide variety, fresh ingredients, and great quality. I especially loved the local pastries and homemade jams. The room was spacious enough to comfortably unpack two large suitcases with plenty of room left over. The front desk staff member was incredibly friendly and spoke fluent Beijing-style Mandarin—really impressive! Overall, an outstanding experience with fantastic value. I’d definitely stay here again on future visits to Marseille.
Staying at Grand Hôtel Beauvau Marseille Vieux-Port - MGallery was an absolute delight. This historic hotel exudes charm from the moment you step inside, with its elegant French vintage style that feels both timeless and authentic. The room was generously sized—perfect for relaxing—and featured classic French decor with subtle touches of nostalgia. The bathroom and shower area were spacious and well-designed, making it comfortable to freshen up after a day of exploring. The hallway’s period-style interior added to the overall ambiance, giving the whole place a sense of old-world elegance. Breakfast was served in a stunning dining space overlooking the entire Old Port—waking up to that view was pure magic. While the variety wasn’t extensive, the quality was excellent: fresh pastries, local jams, and perfectly brewed coffee made every bite memorable. Staff were incredibly warm and attentive—especially the breakfast team who went above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. And just steps away, there’s a fantastic restaurant on-site where dinner was delicious, authentic, and affordable. Cleanliness stood out too—the rooms and public areas were spotless, with consistent housekeeping that made us feel at ease throughout our stay. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better: right next to the metro station, within walking distance of shopping districts, major landmarks, and the heart of the Old Port. Whether you're here for sightseeing, business, or just soaking in the Marseille vibe, this hotel delivers convenience, comfort, and character—all in one unforgettable package.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! Located right on the main street in Marseille, it's incredibly convenient—just a short walk to the train station and steps away from the old port and harbor. The city itself is vibrant and diverse, making every moment here feel alive and energetic. I forgot to book breakfast during check-in, but when the staff noticed, the server kindly offered me a complimentary French breakfast as a gesture of hospitality. Later, the front desk agent confirmed that no payment was needed—what an amazing touch! This kind of genuine warmth and thoughtfulness truly sets the hotel apart. The staff’s friendliness and attention to detail made my stay unforgettable. If you're visiting Marseille, this is definitely a top choice for comfort, location, and heartwarming service.
I stayed at Best Western Plus Hotel la Joliette in Marseille and was truly impressed with the overall experience. While the room is on the smaller side, it’s thoughtfully designed and very functional—everything you need is neatly arranged. What really stood out was the exceptional service; staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel’s location is excellent—just a short metro ride from the city center, making it easy to explore major attractions. Staying at New Hotel le Quai - Vieux Port in Marseille was a real highlight. The location is unbeatable—just steps from the old port and within easy reach of all major attractions. There’s a supermarket right outside the hotel, and the underground parking garage is conveniently located beneath the building, making it super easy to manage your car without stress. The front desk staff on day one were warm, helpful, and made us feel welcome. However, on the second morning, when we arrived at breakfast around 8:30 AM, the buffet was completely empty—no food left at all. After reporting the issue, we ended up chatting with the restaurant team at the front desk for quite some time, but no replacement items appeared. It was a bit frustrating, especially after such a strong start. That said, the hotel’s central location, stylish design, and overall vibe more than make up for the minor hiccup. If you're looking for comfort, convenience, and great access to Marseille’s charm, this place is definitely worth considering.
