Celebrating New Year's Day at Rosewood Beijing was the perfect way to start the year. With chilly weather outside, staying put in this luxurious hotel felt like a dream. I’ve always admired Rosewood’s design aesthetic, and this stay didn’t disappoint—the executive suite might not be huge, but the view from the windows is absolutely unbeatable. Even the little touches, like my initials embroidered on the pillowcase, made the experience feel personal and special. The executive lounge exceeded expectations—both the food quality and service were outstanding, easily among the best I’ve experienced in China. And then there’s the pool: even in winter, it feels like stepping into a serene greenhouse garden. Calm, elegant, and breathtakingly beautiful—hands down, one of the most stunning pools in Beijing. Honestly, the moment I arrived, I was struck by how intimate yet thoughtfully designed the space feels—every detail tells a story. The service was exceptional too. Special thanks to Lucy, the tall and friendly staff member who gently warned me about the busy breakfast rush during peak hours. Without her tip, I’d have been overwhelmed! And the mini bar in the room? Overwhelmingly stocked—so much food and drinks I couldn’t possibly finish. Bonus points for being pet-friendly, even if my shy cat didn’t get to enjoy it. Seeing those adorable dogs at check-out brought a real smile to my face. It’s sad knowing this place will soon close, but since we can’t change that, I’m glad I came here one last time—to truly experience its quiet magic before it fades.

Right outside the door are the Line 3 and Line 10 metro stations, and transferring to the Capital Airport Express is super convenient. It’s also just a short walk to Pop Mart Park, and surrounded by Sanlitun Taikoo Li—perfect for dining and shopping. Overall, the value for money is excellent. The room has a clean, minimalist design with a spacious king bed that made for a comfortable sleep. The only minor downsides were the small toilet (a bit tight for taller guests) and the showerhead, which felt a bit weak—would be great if they upgraded to a larger flow model next time. All in all, this is an ideal choice for travelers who don’t care about luxury finishes or being right on top of tourist hotspots, but really prioritize easy access to public transport.

The Place Apartment Hotel

We stayed for a week at the end of October with two adults and an 11-year-old child, and had a fantastic experience overall. We chose this apartment hotel primarily for its convenient location and well-equipped units—having enough sleeping space for everyone and a fully functional kitchen with proper utensils was essential, and it delivered exactly what was shown in the photos. When we arrived, we requested some additional kitchenware, and everything we asked for was promptly provided. The unit was spotless throughout our stay, with daily cleaning services and fresh towels changed every other day—sometimes even more frequently, which we appreciated. The location couldn’t be better: right next to The Place shopping complex, with countless cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby. There’s also a large supermarket on the lower level of the adjacent building. Three metro stations are within walking distance, including one direct line to the city center and major attractions—just a 20-minute ride. The staff member who checked us in was incredibly helpful, responsive, and went out of her way to assist with a few things during our trip. Thank you so much! This place offers excellent value, and we’d definitely return.

Our first trip to Beijing with the family was made unforgettable by staying at Four Seasons Hotel Beijing. From the moment we arrived, every detail felt thoughtfully crafted. Special thanks to Henry from the concierge team for the little bunny he gave our daughter—she’s been carrying it everywhere ever since, absolutely smitten! We were also touched by Rebecca and Ethan from guest experience, who prepared a special photo frame as a keepsake. When we returned to our room, my daughter spotted it instantly and exclaimed, 'This is me and Daddy!' The joy and emotion in that moment brought tears to our eyes. The warmth and personal touch from every staff member made us feel truly welcomed, especially during Beijing’s chilly winter. It wasn’t just a hotel stay—it felt like coming home. We’re already planning our next visit, and there’s no place else we’d rather stay. Thank you for making our memories so precious.

Conrad Beijing

Staying at Conrad Beijing was an absolute delight from start to finish. Located just minutes from the bustling East Third Ring Road, getting in and out of the city was incredibly convenient—no stress, no hassle. The room itself is thoughtfully designed with a perfect separation between wet and dry areas, making it both practical and comfortable. What truly stood out was the exceptional service: every staff member greeted us warmly and professionally, always with a smile. Whether it was a simple request or something more specific, the team responded quickly and efficiently, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless. The parking facility is managed by a third party, but guests enjoy a daily credit of up to $100—great value for those driving in. Cleanliness was top-notch throughout the property; everything felt fresh and well-maintained. Overall, this was a relaxing, luxurious escape in the heart of Beijing. I’d highly recommend Conrad Beijing to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality.
