My girlfriend and I spent the Immacolata weekend in Florence and stayed at this absolutely wonderful B&B, run by the incredibly warm and thoughtful Gianluca. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home. Gianluca is a true host—kind, attentive, and full of great local tips, whether it was how to plan a perfect day exploring the city or where to find authentic, delicious Tuscan food. The breakfast was a highlight: fresh pastries baked daily, a variety of sweet treats, seasonal fruit, milk (including plant-based options upon request), cereals, savory items, and more—all laid out with care. The B&B itself is cozy, clean, and well-appointed, with spacious, comfortable rooms, excellent soundproofing, and super comfy beds and pillows. The heating system works perfectly, making it cozy even on cooler evenings. Location-wise, it’s ideal—just a 10-minute walk from Santa Maria Novella train station, and within easy reach of the city center. What truly made our stay unforgettable? On my birthday, Gianluca surprised us with a beautifully presented tiramisu complete with a little candle—such a thoughtful gesture that brought tears to my eyes. It turned an already amazing trip into something truly special. We were genuinely sad leaving the room, and I can already feel myself planning our return visit. Thank you, Gianluca, for showing us what real hospitality means—passion, grace, attention to detail, and genuine care for your guests.
This stay was absolutely unforgettable. Perfect for young travelers, and even months later, I still find myself reminiscing about it. It truly feels like staying in a cozy little villa, with a beautiful outdoor space that’s quiet and private—perfect for unwinding. When I visited, the area was mostly empty, so I had the whole place to myself, which made it ideal for some peace and quiet. Great for couples too, as there's plenty of space to enjoy privacy while still being together. Safety was never an issue—it felt secure throughout my entire stay. A truly memorable experience from start to finish.
Staying at Le Stanze Della Contessa was an absolute delight. The apartment is spacious, immaculately clean, and just a short walk from the heart of Siena—perfect for exploring on foot. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, offering helpful tips about local gems and making us feel right at home. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly made the experience exceptional. From the cozy ambiance to the prime location, everything was top-notch. I’d highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone visiting Siena—it’s not just a place to stay, it’s a memorable part of your journey.
This charming little flat is an absolute gem—just a five-minute walk from the Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio, yet tucked away on the quieter side of the Arno River. It’s perfectly positioned for easy access to the heart of Florence while still offering a peaceful retreat. We stayed with a family of four and loved having extra space compared to a standard hotel room, without being too far from all the city’s highlights. The area is full of fantastic restaurants and cozy bars—perfect for evening strolls and great local eats. It felt like living like a local, but with all the comfort and convenience you’d want. A truly special stay that hits the sweet spot between location, peace, and practicality.
Absolutely incredible! This villa is massive and stunning—truly a highlight of our trip to Florence. From the moment we arrived, Sol went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He showed us around personally, explained all the amenities, and even helped with local tips. The property itself is beautifully designed, with elegant details throughout and a peaceful, private atmosphere. It’s perfectly located—close enough to explore the city yet tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. We were blown away by the space, comfort, and attention to detail. Honestly, it saved our vacation and made our stay unforgettable. If you’re looking for an authentic, luxurious, and genuinely welcoming experience in Florence, this is it.
Absolutely loved our stay at Casa Betania! Sister Camilla was incredibly kind and always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was outstanding—fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. The rooms were spacious and immaculately clean, perfect for a relaxing getaway. My three kids had a blast exploring the little playground and garden area—too bad the weather was chilly, otherwise they’d have played non-stop! This place truly feels like a home away from home. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming retreat in Florence.
Staying at Annarè was an absolute delight from start to finish. The dinner was exceptional—each dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor, making it a true culinary highlight of our trip. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, genuine hospitality, making us feel right at home. Nestled in the heart of Florence, it’s perfectly located for exploring the city on foot or by public transport. We’re already planning our return visit—this place is that special. Thanks to a dear friend who introduced us to this hidden gem!
Staying at Mmega Pitti Studio was an absolute delight. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from Florence's main attractions and a quick metro ride to the city center. The studio itself is beautifully designed with a modern, minimalist vibe that feels both spacious and cozy. Every detail reflects thoughtfulness, from the high-quality bedding to the smart layout. The staff were warm and helpful throughout our visit, making us feel truly welcome. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of comfort, style, and service. I’d definitely return and highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Florence.
I stayed at 2B Holiday Home in Florence and while the location was convenient—just a short walk to the city center—the property itself was disappointing. The building looked worn down with peeling paint and signs of neglect throughout. The bathroom door was broken and didn’t close properly, and there was no soap holder—so everything just sat on the counter after use. The pillows were stiff and old, making for an uncomfortable night’s sleep. Also, there was no proper mirror in the bathroom, which was frustrating. Overall, the condition of the unit didn’t match the price, and it felt like minimal effort had been put into upkeep. For the cost, I’d recommend looking elsewhere first.
Staying at Villa Cora was an absolute delight from start to finish. The central courtyard is breathtaking—perfectly designed with a timeless elegance that makes you feel like you're in a hidden gem of Tuscany. Located on a hillside, it’s a bit removed from the main tourist spots, but not too far—just a short, scenic run down to Piazzale Michelangelo, which made for a lovely morning workout with stunning views along the way. Currently, there’s only one restaurant on-site, serving breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was excellent—fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. Dinner was enjoyable but nothing extraordinary. What truly stands out is the exceptional service: staff are attentive, warm, and genuinely go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. The outdoor pool area is serene and perfect for relaxing, and I imagine dining by the water would be even more magical at sunset. Despite being slightly off the beaten path, the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful setting, and top-tier hospitality make this hotel a standout choice. Highly recommend for travelers seeking authenticity and charm.
This was hands down the best hotel of my entire European trip. Staying in a room with a private balcony was an absolute highlight—the view of the Arno River from the terrace every morning was pure magic. I started each day by walking along the riverbank, passing through Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, and ending at Piazzale Michelangelo for panoramic views of the city. Florence truly lives up to its reputation as a cultural gem, and this hotel sits right in the heart of it all. The location is perfect—walkable to major sights and just steps away from transit. Breakfast was exceptional: fresh, abundant, and thoughtfully curated with local flavors. Everything felt special, from the elegant ambiance to the attentive service. If you're looking for a memorable stay that blends comfort, convenience, and authentic charm, this place delivers on every level.
St. Regis Florence is housed in a stunning historic building with an elegant, old-money vibe—every corner feels like a masterpiece, adorned with intricate frescoes and antique furnishings. The Arno River view from my premium room was absolutely worth the price, offering a perfect sightline to the iconic Ponte Vecchio. While the service from my butler was somewhat average (and unfortunately no kids' bathrobes or slippers were provided), the overall experience still shines. I especially loved the morning room service—delivered in a charming little basket, the bread rolls were crisp, fresh, and delicious. It’s rare to find such a blend of heritage charm and luxury at this level, and despite minor oversights, the ambiance, location, and attention to detail make it a truly memorable stay. If you’re looking for a refined, timeless Italian escape, this hotel delivers on every front.
