My birthday celebration setup was thoughtful and beautifully done—perfect ambiance, and the cake was absolutely delicious, just the right sweetness. The lounge’s afternoon tea and dinner were exceptional: fresh ingredients, elegant presentation, and the evening drinks were unlimited, which was a real treat. Breakfast was a bit crowded, but the menu was varied and the food tasted great—though I missed trying the dan dan noodles this time (will definitely go back for that!). When checking out, I requested a late checkout, and although they could only accommodate a short extension due to high occupancy, they made every effort to help. Overall, the experience was outstanding—from service to amenities, every detail felt special. This is luxury done right, and I’d happily return again.

The expansive sight instantly lifted our spirits. We’d specifically booked W Guangzhou for this trip because it coincided with the Guangzhou Marathon, and honestly, it exceeded all expectations. The location is unbeatable—right next to Guangdong Museum, Guangzhou Library, and Huacheng Square, with both the marathon start/finish line and packet pickup just a short walk away. The hotel’s design is bold and futuristic, with a vibrant, energetic atmosphere in the lobby that’s perfect for those who love modern urban style. Rooms are sleek, well-equipped, and feature top-quality bedding—super comfortable for a good night’s sleep. Dinner at the buffet was impressive: wide variety, fresh ingredients, and consistently high quality. But what truly stood out was the service—especially Clinton at reception. He greeted us with a warm smile, handled check-in smoothly, upgraded our room without hesitation, packed breakfast for us to take to the marathon, and even extended our checkout time when we returned late after the race. That kind of thoughtful hospitality made all the difference. This stay was unforgettable—not just for the luxury or location, but for the genuine care shown by the team. The welcome fruit on arrival was fresh and delicious, and my kids couldn’t stop smiling. The nightly dessert, a refreshing Cantonese mung bean soup, was simply perfect—so smooth and satisfying that we wished we could have more. Everything about the stay felt warm, seamless, and genuinely tailored. Plus, the location is fantastic—easy access to public transit and local attractions. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff greeted us warmly, immediately helping with our luggage and smiling throughout. Check-in was fast and smooth, and they were thoughtful enough to assign us to a quiet high-floor room. What stood out even more was how attentive they were when they noticed we were traveling with a child—they proactively provided extra kids’ slippers and toiletries. That kind of care doesn’t go unnoticed. The room itself was larger than expected, and the bedding was a total game-changer—just the right firmness in the mattress and pillows, making for a deep, restful sleep. Location-wise, it's unbeatable—right next to a convenience store and just steps from the subway entrance. Cross the skybridge and you're in a major shopping mall with endless dining options, including a lively food festival. Even though the hotel is located inside a business building (something I didn’t notice when booking), it didn’t affect my stay at all. The building was quiet at night, no noise disturbance, and the rooms were well-insulated. What really stood out was the front desk service—prompt replies, friendly attitude, and always willing to help. I especially want to mention Sister 07 (by ID)—her professionalism and genuine kindness made a big difference. She went above and beyond without being asked. Overall, the value for money is excellent, perfect for solo travelers or groups of friends looking for comfort and convenience. I’ll definitely be back.

Whether you're heading to Zhengjia Square or exploring Taikuhui, everything is within easy reach. The area right outside the hotel is packed with dining options, so mealtime is never an issue. I especially appreciated the free luggage storage, which came in handy when arriving early or departing late. The on-site self-service laundry and dryer are a real bonus for longer stays. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive—they even upgraded our room without hesitation! The extra space and comfort made a big difference.
