My stay at this hotel completely exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious and bright, with excellent cleanliness throughout. I especially appreciated the pillows—perfect height and great support, which made for an incredibly comfortable night's sleep. The staff, particularly Xiao Ting and Li Wen, were incredibly attentive and friendly—always ready to help with any questions, going above and beyond to make the experience smooth and welcoming. Honestly, I'm baffled by the 4.4 rating on the platform—this place deserves way more. We stayed in room 3009 and were upgraded by the front desk, which was a lovely surprise. The room was spacious, quiet, and impeccably clean with big windows that flooded the space with natural light—morning sunrises were absolutely beautiful. Compared to the adjacent 3010 room, ours felt significantly larger. The elevator was fast and silent, a huge upgrade from the other Oakwood property in the same complex. When we arrived, two friendly staff members immediately came over to help with our luggage and even carried it straight to our room—something I’ve never experienced at a five-star hotel like the Garden Hotel, where you’re always left to carry your own bags. Even the chance to tip was missing! Breakfast was small but thoughtfully curated—each item was delicious and fresh. Sitting by the window enjoying a quiet morning meal while watching the city come alive was pure joy. The staff in the dining area were warm, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic. This was hands down the best hotel experience of our trip—having stayed at the Jin Mao in Shanghai, the Garden Hotel in Guangzhou, and the Guoguang Haosheng in Sanya. If you're looking for comfort, service, and value, this is it. I’ll definitely be back.

We booked a bathtub room, and soaking in the tub after a long day was pure bliss. While there’s no dedicated parking lot, and self-driving guests need to cover parking fees (which can add up), it’s understandable given the prime location right next to Taikoo Hui and Wanling Plaza. The real highlight? Location. Public transport is unbeatable—multiple metro lines and bus stops are literally steps away, making it easy to explore downtown Guangzhou, shop, or head to business districts without hassle. Despite the parking limitation, the convenience, cleanliness, service, and overall atmosphere make this a top choice. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.
