The only thing I’d love to see improved is price stability; while the current rate offers great value, it would be nice if it stayed consistent. Also, a big shoutout to Kangxi—the staff member who went above and beyond with warm, genuine service. Their hospitality truly made the stay memorable.

Even better, if you buy a box of Xianju strawberries here, you get a free ticket (worth 110 RMB) to the famous Shennongjia Scenic Area. That’s an unbeatable combo! The hostel itself is quiet, well-maintained, and located just a short subway ride from West Lake. It’s cozy, clean, and feels like home. The location strikes a great balance between being close to attractions yet tucked away from the noise.
