The room itself was spacious, bright, and beautifully appointed with all the essentials. The pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the heating worked perfectly—so cozy that I slept like a baby. What truly stood out was the incredible attention to detail: when we used the self-service laundry late at night and didn’t have time to hang our clothes, a housekeeping staff member named Cai quietly took care of it for us. When I retrieved my clothes the next morning, they were still warm—such a thoughtful touch! This level of care made the experience unforgettable. I ended up extending my stay just to enjoy the comfort and hospitality again. Changsha is amazing, but this hotel truly made it special. Highly recommend!

Walking into a new city and instantly seeing a familiar face was such a heartwarming surprise — it felt like reuniting with an old friend. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall value for money was excellent. I've stayed at many hotels, but this one truly stood out. The location is excellent—just a short subway ride to the city center, with plenty of dining options nearby and a peaceful atmosphere. The room was spotlessly clean, with comfortable bedding that made for a restful night's sleep. What really impressed me was the staff, especially the employee working on the 13th floor—extremely friendly, proactive, and helpful. They went out of their way to print documents for me and answered all my questions with genuine care. The service, cleanliness, and convenience all score top marks. Getting to the main shopping district is easy via metro, making travel stress-free. The room itself was spotless, beautifully designed with smart technology that made everything convenient. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom featured excellent dry-wet separation—a real plus. I also appreciated the on-site gym and laundry facilities, which added extra convenience. Changsha North Star International Hotel

The hotel is brand new and the facilities are top-notch—everything you could want is available, from modern amenities to thoughtful touches throughout. The room was spotless and meticulously cleaned every day; the housekeeping staff were attentive and proactive. What really stood out was the location—right on the banks of the Xiang River. I could enjoy the stunning nighttime light show across both sides of the river from my window—absolutely breathtaking. The service was exceptional too, especially the front desk staff member, Xiao Cao. I accidentally left an item behind, and she reached out immediately to arrange shipping it back to me. That kind of care goes a long way. This place exceeded all expectations—great value, fantastic atmosphere, and unforgettable views. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Changsha.

The window seat features a chaise lounge perfect for lounging while soaking in the scenery; I couldn’t stop staring out the window. The bathroom is thoughtfully designed with a clean separation between wet and dry areas, plus there’s a deep soaking tub—ideal for unwinding after a long day. The front desk staff, Lisha, was incredibly friendly, professional, and warm—the kind of service that truly reflects the InterContinental standard. Located right next to Changsha Museum and Beichen Hui Mall, the hotel offers easy access to culture, shopping, and scenic walks along the river. Spend your mornings basking in the sun by the water or enjoy the golden hour sunset in the evening—this place feels like a peaceful escape without being far from everything. It’s not just a stay; it’s an experience. Highly recommend!
