I always stay here whenever I'm in Hangzhou for business trips—it's become my go-to choice. The design has a unique artistic flair with thoughtful details that make the space feel both modern and inviting. Cleanliness is excellent: the room was spotless, the bathroom fresh, and everything felt well-maintained. Breakfast is plentiful and consistently high-quality—no disappointment there. Among the several hotels in the Binjiang area, Atour stands out as the most comfortable and welcoming. The only thing I’d love to see improved is price stability; while the current rate offers great value, it would be nice if it stayed consistent. Also, a big shoutout to Kangxi—the staff member who went above and beyond with warm, genuine service. Their hospitality truly made the stay memorable.
Hushanwoju Hostel
Staying at Hushanwoju Hostel in Hangzhou was such a delightful surprise! The owner is actually from Xianju, and that’s where the magic begins. Right when we checked in, we were greeted with a fresh box of juicy Xianju strawberries—no need to travel all the way there to enjoy them! These little red gems were sweet, tangy, and absolutely delicious. I was told every guest gets one during their stay—what a thoughtful touch! Even better, if you buy a box of Xianju strawberries here, you get a free ticket (worth 110 RMB) to the famous Shennongjia Scenic Area. That’s an unbeatable combo! The hostel itself is quiet, well-maintained, and located just a short subway ride from West Lake. It’s cozy, clean, and feels like home. If you’re visiting Hangzhou, this place is definitely worth a visit—it’s not just a stay, it’s an experience.

The room itself was thoughtfully designed, and the highlight was definitely the cozy canopy bed—it felt like sleeping under the stars, soft and comfortable. It’s about a 10-12 minute walk to the nearest subway station, not too far, and there are several bus stops nearby, so getting around is convenient. Located right next to Mántou Mountain Community, it’s wonderfully quiet and peaceful, perfect for unwinding after a busy day exploring the city. The location strikes a great balance between being close to attractions yet tucked away from the noise. With such a welcoming atmosphere, excellent comfort, and fantastic value, I’d absolutely stay here again—and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hangzhou.

I was able to check in early and also extended my checkout time without any hassle—staff were proactive whenever I had a question or needed assistance. Their friendly attitude made the whole experience even better. Being on the ground floor is a major plus—super convenient for walking to West Lake, Hefang Street, and nearby attractions. Everything is within easy reach. The value for money is outstanding, and I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit Hangzhou. Highly recommend this hotel!
