The NOVOTEL sign makes it easy to spot, and the overall atmosphere feels clean and welcoming. Inside the room, everything was spotless—the bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept really well through the night. Water pressure in the shower was strong, which made for a refreshing experience. One small downside: there’s no central overhead light in the room, so lighting can feel a bit dim when packing or unpacking, especially in the corners. Also, there’s no laundry machine on-site—though that’s common in China, so we managed by handwashing or heading out to a local laundry shop. The air conditioning also had some limitations—we couldn’t cool the room down as much as we’d like, but it wasn’t a major issue. What truly made the stay unforgettable? The breakfast. It was absolutely outstanding—endless fried eggs, fresh toast, a variety of salads, and plenty of hot dishes. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and served in generous portions. If you’re staying here, don’t miss the breakfast—it’s a must-try. Despite a few minor quirks, the overall experience was excellent, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Xi’an.
