Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a 5-minute walk to the historic Laomen East area, and close enough to Confucius Temple to explore on foot. Nearby attractions like Bao’en Temple and Yuhua Terrace are also just a short cab ride away—only a few dollars from the meter. With such a perfect blend of hospitality, charm, and convenience, I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next trip to Nanjing.

Staying at Shanghao Hotel Apartment was an absolute delight! The room was spotless and meticulously clean, with soft, comfortable bedding that made for a truly restful night’s sleep. I woke up feeling refreshed—no noise or disturbances at all. The living area features floor-to-ceiling windows with excellent natural lighting, perfect for relaxing or just zoning out with a good book. The bathroom is thoughtfully designed with a dry-wet separation, and the shower pressure was consistent and strong—plus, all the toiletries were well-stocked and high quality. Small touches like the mini-fridge and built-in wardrobe made the stay feel convenient and homely. Located near the Olympic Sports Center and Science Park, it's super accessible by subway and close to local amenities. Great value for money, quiet surroundings, and a welcoming atmosphere. Lvtuyushe Homestay (Nanjing Xinjiekou Shanghai Road Subway Station)

We stopped by Nanjing during a long road trip and deliberately chose the 6.5-foot king-size bed room—right from the moment we walked in, we were impressed. The kids absolutely loved the room, especially the superhero-themed design; they stayed two nights without wanting to leave. I was worried about the hard mattress affecting my back, but the plush yet supportive mattress made all the difference—it was incredibly comfortable and helped me recover from travel fatigue. Everything is smart: automated curtains, a high-tech toilet, free coffee and soft drinks, plus a microwave in the common area for easy meals. The hostess, Crystal, was exceptionally warm and welcoming throughout our stay. The lobby’s modern decor and thoughtful touches made the whole experience feel luxurious. Honestly, this place exceeded our expectations in every way. We’ll definitely come back next time we visit Nanjing—truly one of the best stays we’ve had.
