Pancha Flats

The Pancha Flats exceeded my expectations in every way. The space is incredibly generous—walking into the apartment felt like stepping into a spacious, modern home rather than a typical rental. The minimalist design gives it a clean, fresh vibe, and all rooms are well-maintained with comfortable beds and ample storage. The bathroom is large and functional, making it easy to share among six people without any sense of crowding. Location-wise, it's just steps from the metro, so getting around Mexico City is super convenient. With such great value, comfort, and layout, this place is perfect for groups or families. I’d definitely book here again on my next visit.

Uma Casa

Our stay at Uma Casa was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality by Claudia and her team. Nestled in a charming neighborhood of Mexico City, the property is perfectly positioned for exploring all the city has to offer—whether it’s dining, culture, or just wandering through local streets. The home itself is a true gem: beautifully designed with a mix of modern comfort and personal touches that reflect its history. Each room is quiet, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished. But what truly stood out was the rooftop breakfast—fresh, delicious, and served in such a stunning setting. It felt like a daily highlight. Claudia and her staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. We left with nothing but gratitude and a deep desire to return. If you’re looking for an authentic, heartfelt experience in CDMX, this is it. Highly recommend—and yes, we’ll be back.

Icon Condesa

To be honest, I didn’t have high expectations going in—thought the apartment looked a bit small, worried it might get hot during the day, and assumed it could be noisy. I also sensed it had a slightly corporate vibe rather than that authentic, historic charm I sometimes look for. But wow, I was truly pleasantly surprised! The unit was just the right size, with stunning views from our 18th-floor room—definitely go for a higher floor if you can. Compared to another rental we had in central Condesa just before, this one was significantly quieter: the city’s low rumble came through as ambient background noise, not intrusive street-level chaos. The rooftop terrace is absolutely spectacular—perfect for evening relaxation or storytelling with kids. There’s also a fantastic pool area and play space that kept the little ones entertained for hours. Located on the edge of Condesa, it offers a great balance between convenience and calm. If you’re traveling with young children and want a safe, family-friendly spot with excellent amenities, a great location, and no sky-high price tag, I can’t recommend this place enough!

Loft Sinaloa by the Local Way

The communication was excellent from start to finish, and the apartment exceeded all our expectations! It’s beautifully designed with a cozy, modern vibe that made us feel right at home. Located in a vibrant neighborhood full of amazing restaurants, cafes, and local hangouts, we never ran out of great places to explore just steps from the door. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful—always quick to respond and genuinely thoughtful. We had such a wonderful stay that we’re already planning our return trip. If you're looking for a genuine local experience in Mexico City, this is the place to be!

Hotel Muy

My stay at Hotel Muy was a major disappointment. While the location is convenient—close to metro access and downtown—it’s hard to overlook the poor quality of the room. I booked a suite with a jacuzzi, but the tub was filthy and smelled strongly of sewage, almost unbearable. The nightstand had suspicious stains from an unknown substance, which made me hesitant to touch anything. Cleaning standards were clearly lacking, and the front desk staff seemed more focused on training a new employee than helping me. That moment felt awkward and unprofessional. To add to the frustration, the actual building looked nothing like the photos online—the facade didn’t match at all. The room itself was tiny and poorly ventilated, and the odor lingered throughout. Honestly, for 720 pesos, this was not worth it. The only positive part? I requested a refund, and they processed it quickly and without hassle. Overall, this experience left me very unhappy. If the hotel doesn’t prioritize cleanliness, maintenance, and guest service, it will continue losing customers. A few improvements could go a long way in turning things around.

Art Residence B&B San Angel

We stayed just three days at this charming B&B, but honestly, we could have easily extended our visit—there’s truly no shortage of comfort and thoughtfulness here. The rooms are beautifully curated with a cozy bed, spacious balcony, and an incredibly comfortable shower. Everything you need is provided—from the iron and laundry detergent to a Dyson vacuum cleaner (perfect if you accidentally bring in some sand!). Michele and Silvia, the hosts, went above and beyond with their warm hospitality, offering us excellent recommendations for local restaurants and beaches. Breakfast was deliciously prepared with care, and the airy, sunlit atmosphere made every moment feel relaxing and uplifting. We’re already planning our return trip—this place feels like home.

Sonder Casa Tonalá

The main issue during my stay was the hot water. For two nights, there was no hot water at all, and on other days, it took a long time to come out—resulting in a significant amount of water being wasted while waiting. There’s even a sign that says, 'Hot water takes time to arrive—thank you for your patience.' It’s frustrating knowing the hotel is aware of this waste but still hasn’t taken action. I’d much prefer if they provided a bucket to collect excess water for flushing toilets instead. That would be a simple, eco-friendly solution. Overall, the location and design were great, and the room was comfortable, but this hot water delay really impacted the experience. A small fix could make a big difference.

Sofitel Mexico City Reforma

Staying at Sofitel Mexico City Reforma was an absolute delight. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a stunning view directly facing the iconic Angel of Independence Plaza—perfect for morning coffee with a view. Breakfast was incredibly diverse, and I loved that we could order à la carte instead of being limited to a fixed menu. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, attentive service—always smiling, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Right outside the hotel, there's a 7-Eleven for late-night snacks or essentials, and across the street is a cozy Chinese restaurant that made dinner easy and convenient. Location-wise, it’s ideal for exploring downtown Mexico City, yet quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. Everything from the ambiance to the amenities felt premium. This place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and charm—definitely a top pick for any traveler visiting Mexico City.

Staying at the JW Marriott Hotel Mexico City Polanco was an absolute highlight of my trip to Mexico City. Located in the upscale and leafy Polanco neighborhood, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city. From the moment I arrived, the service stood out—exceptional attention to detail and genuine hospitality. As a Marriott Platinum member, I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to the Executive Floor, which included access to a private lounge and an excellent dining experience. The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious, featuring local Mexican flavors that truly made the meal special. The ambiance is elegant yet welcoming, and every staff member goes above and beyond. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s a refined urban sanctuary. I’ll definitely be returning.

Hotel Marquis Reforma

Staying at Hotel Marquis Reforma was an absolutely delightful experience. The hotel is spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and feels secure from the moment you step in. What really stood out was the festive atmosphere during Día de los Muertos—elaborate decorations, vibrant floral arrangements, and traditional altars added a genuine cultural touch that made the stay even more memorable. The location is excellent, just steps away from the metro, making it easy to explore downtown Mexico City. Comfortable rooms, great service, and a welcoming vibe make this hotel a top choice for any traveler. I’d definitely come back.
