Drury Plaza Hotel New Orleans

I’d definitely stay at the Drury Plaza Hotel New Orleans again—this was an excellent experience from start to finish. The hot breakfast was hearty and well-prepared, and I appreciated the complimentary evening drinks with a great selection of appetizers. The location is unbeatable; it’s within walking distance of so many top attractions. I highly recommend strolling up the street to Daisy Mae’s for a fantastic lunch—worth every step. Special shoutout to Jamie, the front desk manager, who was incredibly courteous and helpful with my reservation. It also gave me peace of mind knowing only guests with key cards could access the property and amenities, which made the stay feel secure and private. The only minor note is that our room faced the main street, and some noise from the busy traffic occasionally carried through—nothing major, though. Overall, the service, comfort, and convenience were outstanding. This hotel delivers real value and charm. Highly recommend!

From the moment we walked in, the grandeur and timeless elegance of the property set the tone for a truly special experience. The room we booked was on a higher floor, offering a lovely view of part of Canal Street—perfect for morning coffee with a cityscape backdrop. The decor struck the perfect balance between rustic charm and refined luxury, with tasteful details throughout that made the space feel both warm and sophisticated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and every element—from the linens to the bathroom fixtures—felt high-end and well-maintained. It’s rare to find such a historic property that feels so thoughtfully cared for, especially during a busy holiday weekend like Labor Day. InterContinental Hotels New Orleans

The staff in the lobby were incredibly warm and welcoming—felt like coming home, especially as a traveler from abroad. While the facilities aren’t cutting-edge, they’re well-maintained and comfortable, and the bed was exceptionally cozy for a restful night’s sleep. What truly stood out was how they handled my unexpected extension due to the hurricane. A friendly front desk agent personally upgraded me to a room with a balcony—such a thoughtful touch that made a stressful situation feel much more manageable. Even though I couldn’t leave on schedule, the care and attention from the team made all the difference. This place truly goes above and beyond, and I’d absolutely recommend it.

Happy Place Bnb

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Happy Place Bed and Breakfast! From the moment we walked in, everything felt thoughtfully curated. The bed was incredibly comfortable—perfect for a good night’s sleep. The plush towels and high-quality bath amenities (shampoos, conditioners, lotions, oils) were a nice touch. We especially loved the themed rooms, with fun details inspired by Thor and Nigel that added character and charm. It felt like staying in a cozy, personal retreat rather than just another hotel. The location is great—close to public transit and downtown attractions, making it super easy to explore New Orleans. Every little detail showed care and attention. Highly recommend this hidden gem!
