I chose this hotel specifically to visit the Great Wall, and it turned out to be an absolutely perfect choice. Dining here was another highlight—the restaurant serves amazing food at very reasonable prices. I had the traditional Peking copper hotpot for under $40, which felt like a steal. Yes, you do need to take a shuttle between the main area and your room, but the shuttles run frequently, so waiting time is minimal. Overall, this stay exceeded all expectations.
