Staying at Ligovsky Yard in Saint Petersburg felt like living in a cozy, well-organized apartment rather than a traditional hotel. Located right in the heart of the city, it’s just a short walk from the train station—perfect for travelers arriving late or on tight schedules. The building is a regular residential block on the 4th floor with no elevator, but the check-in process was smooth and remote, with clear instructions sent ahead to guide guests through the courtyard entrance and main stairway. Inside, the space feels warm and homey—more like a stylish private flat with multiple rooms than a hotel. Everything was clean and thoughtfully equipped: bathrooms had shampoo, body wash, slippers, and a hairdryer; family-friendly touches like a baby chair and changing potty were included. The kitchen is fully functional—complete with pots, pans, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, bottled water, tea, and coffee. Additional perks include an iron, ironing board, shoe cleaning sponge, and disposable boot covers. The family room even features a built-in wardrobe, which made packing and organizing a breeze. While it's not a luxury five-star property, the value-for-money ratio is excellent for Saint Petersburg. Staff are attentive and genuinely helpful, making sure guests feel comfortable. Some minor details could be improved, but overall, this mini-hotel delivers a genuine, authentic local experience with great convenience and charm. Highly recommend for solo travelers, couples, or families seeking a quiet, convenient base in the city center.
