This hotel is incredibly convenient—right above the Tiyu Xi Road Metro Station, making it super easy to get to the high-speed rail station or airport. When it comes to dining, shopping, and entertainment, you can’t beat the location: Tianhe City, TIANHuan, and Zhengjia are literally just steps away. Despite being around for years, the hotel doesn’t feel outdated at all—the rooms and public areas are well-maintained and fresh. The staff are attentive and genuinely helpful, going the extra mile without being pushy. Breakfast is a highlight—wide variety, excellent quality, and great value for money. If I ever return to Guangzhou, this will be my top choice again. Highly recommend!

Staying at The Westin Guangzhou was a wonderful experience. The front desk staff were genuinely thoughtful, offering helpful tips about breakfast timing and even recommending some must-try dishes. Breakfast options were impressive—plenty of Western pastries, fresh juices, and salads. While the Cantonese dim sum selection was a bit limited, the made-to-order items like cheung fun, congee, noodles, and baked goods were all delicious and freshly prepared. One small note: although smoking is clearly prohibited indoors, there was still a faint lingering smoke smell near the lounge seating and restrooms in the lower lobby area. It might be worth improving the ventilation system or relocating the seating to a better-ventilated space, such as the atrium area. Overall, the hotel delivers on comfort, service, and convenience—excellent value for money and a great location. I’d definitely come back.

Savoring a warm bowl of wonton noodles while gazing out at the glittering river made the first day of the year feel incredibly special. The combination of luxury, comfort, and thoughtful details made this stay unforgettable. I’d absolutely return in a heartbeat.

I checked in during the afternoon, and the front desk staff, Catherine, was absolutely outstanding—friendly, professional, and genuinely warm. After settling in, they surprised me with a complimentary fruit tray. I casually mentioned how nice the tangerines were, and within minutes, they brought out a whole large bowl! It was such a thoughtful touch—completely unexpected but deeply appreciated. This level of personalized service really sets the hotel apart. Every detail feels cared for, and the attention to small gestures makes all the difference. Definitely a 10/10 experience and a place I’d happily return to.

Finally stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou—the dream hotel I’ve been looking forward to for ages, and it did not disappoint! Check-in was smooth and efficient, with staff who were attentive and genuinely warm. My birthday celebration setup was thoughtful and beautifully done—perfect ambiance, and the cake was absolutely delicious, just the right sweetness. The lounge’s afternoon tea and dinner were exceptional: fresh ingredients, elegant presentation, and the evening drinks were unlimited, which was a real treat. Breakfast was a bit crowded, but the menu was varied and the food tasted great—though I missed trying the dan dan noodles this time (will definitely go back for that!). When checking out, I requested a late checkout, and although they could only accommodate a short extension due to high occupancy, they made every effort to help. Overall, the experience was outstanding—from service to amenities, every detail felt special. This is luxury done right, and I’d happily return again.

Without a doubt, this will be my go-to choice whenever I return to Guangzhou, and I’ll definitely recommend it to friends and family.
