HOTEL LiVEMAX BUDGET Yokohama Tsurumi

This is already my fourth stay at this hotel in Yokohama Tsurumi, and I keep coming back because it's just so convenient and consistently satisfying. The location is perfect—easy access to Tokyo via train, and there are plenty of local eateries and shops nearby. When I visited last December, the lighting was a bit dim, but during my trips in February and April, the place had been freshly renovated with brighter, more inviting lights. This recent visit was just as enjoyable as before. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and excellent value for money—it’s no surprise I’ll be booking here again next year. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

The room was spacious and comfortable, with no sense of crowding despite being well-sized for a couple. The staff were friendly and attentive, going the extra mile to ensure our stay was pleasant. What really stood out was the excellent value for money—this hotel offers premium comfort and service without the premium price tag. I highly recommend it to travelers looking for a reliable, hassle-free base in Yokohama.

HOTEL LiVEMAX Shinyokohama

Staying at LiVEMAX Shinyokohama was a great experience overall. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Shinyokohama Station, making it incredibly convenient for catching the Shinkansen, JR lines, and Yokohama’s city subway—perfect for both local travel and day trips. Located in a newer district, it's surrounded by office buildings, so it feels lively yet not overcrowded. Across the street is Shinyokahama Park—a spacious green area with a small river, a large sports field, and several smaller courts. I enjoyed morning runs there; it’s peaceful, well-used, but never too crowded. Around the hotel, you’ll find plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and supermarkets—everything you need within easy reach. The room was compact but spotless, modern, and well-maintained. Everything worked as expected, including the private bathroom. I didn’t get to try the microwave, but that’s a minor detail. With a special rate of 337 CNY per night through the platform, this was an excellent value for money. Highly recommend for travelers seeking comfort, location, and affordability.

The location is incredibly convenient—just a short metro ride to central Yokohama, and everything you need, from restaurants to convenience stores, is within easy walking distance. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and the bed was super comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet and peaceful the environment was, despite being in a busy city area. The staff were friendly and helpful without being pushy, which made the stay even more enjoyable. It’s clear that attention to detail and guest comfort are top priorities here. With such great value and a welcoming atmosphere, I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Yokohama.

It's conveniently located just a short ride on the subway from central Yokohama, making it easy to explore local restaurants, shopping areas, and the waterfront. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering a small welcome gift upon check-in—an unexpected but nice touch. Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel and Towers

This was easily the best hotel I've stayed at during my trip. The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable, with excellent soundproofing—finally, a good night's sleep without any disturbances! The breakfast spread was outstanding, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients that were both delicious and wholesome. Staff were professional and attentive throughout our stay. The only minor drawback is that although there are five elevators, only one operates at peak times, leading to waits of about five minutes—slightly inconvenient, but completely overshadowed by how amazing everything else was. Overall, an exceptional experience with fantastic value, and I’d definitely come back.

Hilton Yokohama

My wife and I stayed at Hilton Yokohama and honestly, the experience was absolutely outstanding. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the waterfront, where we enjoyed breathtaking night views of the city lights reflecting on the sea. Our room had floor-to-ceiling windows offering an open view of the vibrant skyline and ocean, creating such a romantic atmosphere. The room itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with premium bedding that made for a truly restful night’s sleep. Even the toiletries felt luxurious and thoughtfully chosen. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, efficient, and always ready to help. They gave us great local recommendations that made our trip even more memorable. From seamless check-in to smooth checkout, everything flowed effortlessly. Hotel Associa Shin-Yokohama (JR-Central Hotels)

My stay at Hotel Associa Shin-Yokohama was a positive experience overall. The room was clean and fresh with no unpleasant odors—very reassuring. Breakfast options were limited, but the drink selection was quite good, offering variety. That said, the food wasn’t served hot enough, and the taste was just average. Still, the location more than makes up for it—super convenient for transit, with easy access to Yokohama’s city center and Tokyo via train. If you’re looking for a reliable, well-located base in the area, this hotel delivers great value. A solid choice for travelers prioritizing convenience.

Shin Yokohama Prince Hotel

Staying at Shin Yokohama Prince Hotel felt like being in the heart of a bustling urban oasis. The hotel stands as the tallest building in Shin-Yokohama, and its rooftop bar offers one of the best views—directly facing Mount Fuji. On clear days, the distant silhouette of the iconic peak is simply breathtaking. The lobby connects seamlessly to Prince Peppe Mall, where you can easily access subway and JR stations, plus there’s a large drugstore and another shopping complex nearby with stores like Uniqlo, GU, an electronics store, sushi bars, Western restaurants, and even more dining options. Shopping and dining are all within walking distance. While the single room is compact, the spacious bathtub was a real highlight, and the window-side sofa area made it easy to store personal items. For families, upgrading to a larger twin room greatly improves comfort. And if you want to get closer to Fuji, just hop on a train for 30 minutes to Kamakura and walk down to the beach—the perfect photo spot. Plus, getting into Tokyo from Yokohama is super convenient. Overall, this hotel delivers great value and unforgettable experiences.

SOTETSU HOTELS THE SPLAISIR YOKOHAMA

Coming out of the JR station's West Exit, head right and you'll spot an elevator right away—take it up to the second floor where the skywalk connects. Follow the row of greenery ahead, and you'll notice the two-stage escalator system. But don’t go through the left-side entrance—it’s just the first access point. For those with luggage, the easiest way is to pass by the escalator, keep going, and turn left at the third entrance. There you’ll find the hotel’s dedicated elevator leading directly to the 4th-floor check-in area. The whole route is well-designed and super intuitive, even with heavy bags. Smooth, efficient, and stress-free—exactly what a great stay should feel like.

The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, especially the bed, which made for a restful night’s sleep without any disruptions. Located just minutes away from Shin-Yokohama Station, getting around Yokohama or even Tokyo was so convenient via train. The breakfast spread was generous and delicious, with a nice mix of Japanese and Western options. What really stood out was the exceptional value for money—everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. Whether you're here for business or leisure, I can’t recommend this place enough. Hotel Plumm

I stay at Hotel Plumm every time I visit Yokohama for work—about once every six months—and it never disappoints. This time, I went with the Chinese breakfast option, which was delicious and authentic. The room was spotless, well-designed, and very functional—perfect for both business and relaxation. Everything is thoughtfully laid out, making the stay super comfortable. It's one of those places that just feels right, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Yokohama.
