Everything is brand new and smartly equipped, from the modern fixtures to the super-fast Wi-Fi that never lags. Cleanliness is top-notch, and check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Special shoutout to our host Xiao Jiang—so friendly and helpful! They even offered free luggage storage, which made our trip much more convenient. Every time I visit Nanjing, I make sure to stay at Shangri-La—it’s simply my go-to. Dining at Jiangnan Zao was a highlight: the ingredients were fresh and top-notch. The pickled turnip with preserved vegetables was surprisingly delicious, the fish head incredibly fresh, and the sweet-and-sour ribs? Absolutely unforgettable. My friend devoured the stir-fried beef in no time—proof it was a hit! Bonus: guests staying at the hotel can enjoy complimentary room service from Jiangnan Zao—even if you’re not on the waitlist. Plus, the Christmas decorations were beautifully done, adding a magical touch to the entire stay. Honestly, I’m already planning my next visit—Shangri-La truly wins my heart every time.
