It’s a bit of a ride to the Duomo via bus (about 30 minutes), but the quiet neighborhood makes up for it. Plus, there are several good dining spots within walking distance. Grand Hotel Minerva
The stay at Grand Hotel Minerva was excellent overall—great location, elegant design, and friendly staff. The only issue occurred on the first night when I was bitten while sleeping, possibly from something in the bed. I informed reception, but they couldn’t identify the cause. They did promptly replace all bedding, which helped resolve the problem. Since then, no further incidents occurred. While it was a minor hiccup, the hotel handled it efficiently. I’d still highly recommend this place—very comfortable, well-located, and great value for money.
