It was such a surprise and truly made our stay more special, especially for our elders who rarely splurge on upgrades. What stood out even more was that someone from the team called ahead to confirm our arrival details and even provided clear instructions about parking—so much for peace of mind! When we had to wait briefly for our room to be ready, instead of just letting us sit, they brought over a small snack specifically for our 4-year-old daughter. She lit up instantly, turning what could’ve been a boring wait into a sweet little moment. Breakfast was another highlight—despite having two kids (one taller than standard), the staff didn’t treat us like a hassle. They welcomed us warmly and handled everything with grace. One detail I’ll never forget: when our napkins ran out, a supervisor personally came over to replace them—no one else was assigned, no script, just genuine care. Throughout our stay, housekeeping staff remained courteous, quiet, and always ready to help if needed, yet never intrusive. The only minor suggestions: there’s a bit of room for improvement in water supply—more bottles or easier access to refills would boost comfort. Also, while the carpet was clean, it looked slightly dull; upgrading the cleaning or considering a refresh might better match the hotel’s premium feel. To be honest, we also stayed at other hotels during this trip—including Jinzhou New World and Qinhuangdao Shangri-La—but none matched the level of thoughtfulness, warmth, and proactive service we experienced here. This wasn’t just good hospitality—it felt human. We’re already planning our next visit to Shenyang, and New World will definitely be our first choice. Location-wise, it's just a short walk from Shenyang Railway Station, making travel around the city super convenient. You can even catch glimpses of the city’s historical urban planning as you stroll by. I regret not trying out the 9th-floor spa this time, but it’s definitely on my list for next visit. Cleanliness was top-notch—every corner sparkled. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a washer-dryer combo, so cooking and laundry were stress-free. And right downstairs? A lively pedestrian street full of shops and eateries—ideal for grabbing snacks or exploring local flavors. This place truly feels like home away from home. I’ll be back, no doubt.

Mingpin Hotel (Shenyang Changbai Wanxianghui Branch)

This stay at Mingpin Hotel (Shenyang Changbai Wanxianghui Branch) was absolutely excellent! The service was equally impressive: they even called ahead to confirm our needs and thoughtfully prepared children’s slippers, toothbrushes, and a little welcome gift—so sweet and thoughtful. With two kids in tow, we were especially touched when they brought us extra late-night snacks, and the staff even added an extra chicken leg on top—truly going above and beyond. The Imperial Palace is a 10-15 minute walk away, and Zhang Zuolin’s Mansion is even closer—perfect for exploring without needing to rely on transport. The room was spotless, quiet despite being on a busy street, and the heating and air conditioning worked like a charm—really comfortable no matter the weather. I arrived late at night, but the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient. Even though I misplaced my ID, they easily processed check-in using a digital copy—super convenient. They also offered helpful recommendations for local spas and must-try restaurants, which was great for travelers who don’t like planning every detail.
