Staying at Tsing House was an absolute delight! The charming courtyard with ocean views right in front is perfect for photography and just relaxing. Located just a short walk from Wusi Square, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring the city—public transit is just minutes away. The staff and owner were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The room itself was cozy and beautifully designed with a style I truly love—minimalist yet full of character. It’s quiet and peaceful, which made for a wonderful restful stay. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. I’d absolutely book here again on my next trip to Qingdao—it’s such a gem!

InterContinental Qingdao

Staying at InterContinental Qingdao was a delightful surprise! The front desk staff went above and beyond by upgrading me to a sea view room—though it wasn’t on the highest floor, the ocean views were still stunning and made the stay very enjoyable. The fitness center has well-maintained equipment, and although I didn’t get a chance to swim due to time constraints, the pool looked clean and inviting. It’s just a 5-minute walk to Haixin Plaza, making shopping and dining super convenient. I especially want to thank the friendly front desk agent who checked me in (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name) and Jennifer at check-out for her exceptional attention to detail—she even helped extend my checkout time without hassle. The service, comfort, and location all exceeded expectations. This is definitely a hotel I’d recommend and return to.

We arrived quite late, but the host was incredibly thoughtful—upgraded our room without hesitation and even turned on the air conditioning in advance. Walking into the room, we were greeted with warm, welcoming comfort right away. The space is spacious and immaculately clean, with a well-maintained atmosphere throughout the property. The bedding was soft and cozy, making for a restful night’s sleep. Our upgraded room even came with a small sofa and an inviting little courtyard outside—perfect for sipping coffee or soaking up the sun during the day. To top it off, we were welcomed with a bottle of Tsingtao beer and Lao Shan Cola—such a fun, local touch! Every detail felt personal and genuine. This stay exceeded expectations. If you’re visiting Qingdao, this is a must-book spot. Reliable, charming, and totally worth every penny.
