Located just a short walk from Exit 9 of Sinmunhyeon Station, Ocloud Hotel Gangnam is incredibly convenient for exploring Seoul. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a soft, refreshing scent reminiscent of white tea—immediately signaling this hotel was going to be a great choice. The room was spacious enough to spread out luggage with ease, making it feel like a home away from home. Everything was spotlessly clean, especially the bathroom, where the glass-enclosed shower kept water splashes contained—no more wet sinks or toilets! A large refrigerator and microwave were handy for storing drinks and reheating takeout meals, and daily complimentary bottled water made staying in even more comfortable. Just a minute down the hall on the basement level is a clean, 24-hour coin laundry—perfect for longer stays. Plus, the area around the hotel is packed with traveler-friendly options: affordable kimbap shops, Mega Coffee, and other familiar chains right at your doorstep. If I’m ever back in Gangnam, this will be my go-to stay. Highly recommend! ❤️

The view from the window isn’t much to write home about—it’s just a wall of the neighboring hotel—but honestly, that didn’t bother me at all since I was mainly using it as a base for exploring Seoul. The hotel is immaculate and beautifully designed, with an unbeatable location just steps away from LFC. What truly stood out was the front desk staff member who happened to be from Hong Kong—when they noticed we didn’t speak Korean, they went above and beyond to assist with check-in, patiently guiding us through the process. It’s rare to feel such genuine care while traveling far from home. I really wanted to thank them in person, but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to see them again. Finding a familiar face in a foreign city made all the difference—it felt like a small but meaningful connection. I stayed here during Chuseok and was pleasantly surprised. Compared to the nearby motels, this place stands out as a much better option—especially if you're staying in Dongjak or Daebangdong area. The rooms have great potential; with a bit more upkeep, it could easily be a solid 4-star hotel. It's just a short walk from the subway station, making commuting super convenient. There are plenty of dining options around, so whether you're hanging out with friends or enjoying a quiet evening with your partner, this is the perfect spot to unwind. A truly relaxing and comfortable stay that feels like your own personal retreat.
