Walking distance to Kunbai Mall, Shuncheng, Old Town, and the main pedestrian street makes exploring so convenient. The staff are warm and helpful—front desk team members are friendly and attentive, and housekeeping staff go out of their way with genuine smiles. Water is generously provided, no need to worry about extra charges. One small note: some front desk personnel could use a bit more warmth in their greeting, but it’s a minor point. Overall, this hotel delivers an outstanding experience. A solid 10/10—highly recommend for anyone visiting Kunming.

Getting to the airport by taxi takes about 30 minutes, which is very reasonable. The only minor downside is that soundproofing isn’t ideal—some noise from neighboring rooms can be heard—but overall, the place is quiet at night, so it didn’t affect my sleep. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and responded quickly to any requests, which made the whole experience smooth and welcoming. Located right in the heart of Kunming, the hotel is walking distance to Nanping Pedestrian Street, and it's also close to Dianchi Lake — perfect for exploring the city or enjoying a scenic view. There’s a small convenience store right downstairs, so grabbing daily essentials is super convenient. The breakfast area is spacious with a wide variety of dishes, all well-prepared and tasty — a great way to start the day. Parking is available both on ground level and underground, making it ideal for guests traveling by car. The room itself was clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors from the carpet. The in-room safe is a nice touch for storing valuables. One minor suggestion: the king-size room could use an extra nightstand — it would make things more convenient for placing phones or books. Also, the showerhead in room 1715 requires constant pressure to stay open (it shuts off when released), and the cold water pressure in room 1714’s sink seems low — possibly a faucet issue that could benefit from maintenance. Despite these small points, the overall experience was excellent. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great location, and fantastic value. I’d definitely come back — this is now my go-to choice in Kunming.
