This stay was absolutely fantastic! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Xinjiekou, making shopping and dining super convenient. The room was spotless, with excellent natural light and airflow, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable—perfect for a good night’s sleep. I was especially impressed by the smart toilet; it made using the bathroom so much more enjoyable. There's also a microwave and fridge in the room, which was a huge plus for reheating meals or storing snacks. The front desk staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help—so welcoming! They even treated us to a complimentary bowl of beef noodle soup upon check-in, and it was delicious—rich broth, tender meat, and perfectly cooked noodles. Housekeeping came by daily on time and kept everything immaculate. The neighborhood around Keqiang Alley is full of local gems—street food that’s fresh, flavorful, and totally worth exploring. Everything about this hotel screams value for money. It’s clean, modern, thoughtfully designed, and feels like home. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nanjing.

The floor-to-ceiling windows opened up to a lush central lawn, and on that particular day, a couple was filming their wedding photos there—adding a magical touch to the already picturesque view. Breakfast was a highlight: spacious dining area with a wide variety of fresh options. The freshly cooked congee stood out—served with care by a passionate chef who took time to explain each ingredient. Don’t miss it! The room itself was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything I needed, from plush bedding to modern amenities. What truly stood out, though, was the service. Every staff member—from check-in to housekeeping to breakfast attendants—was warm, professional, and attentive. The breakfast spread was impressive: diverse, freshly prepared, and delicious. It’s rare to find such consistent quality across all aspects of a stay. If I’m ever back in Nanjing, this will be my first choice again. A truly memorable experience.

Every time I visit Nanjing, I make sure to stay at Shangri-La—it’s simply my go-to. This trip was for a friend’s birthday, and we took the chance to explore the stunning maple leaves at Qixia Mountain, golden ginkgo trees by Xuanwu Lake, Yanyue Lake, Stone Elephant Road, and the famous plane tree avenue. Perfect timing, perfect weather, and perfect vibes! The room arranged by Manager Dong was exceptional—comfortable, elegant, and thoughtfully prepared. Dining at Jiangnan Zao was a highlight: the ingredients were fresh and top-notch. The pickled turnip with preserved vegetables was surprisingly delicious, the fish head incredibly fresh, and the sweet-and-sour ribs? Absolutely unforgettable. My friend devoured the stir-fried beef in no time—proof it was a hit! Bonus: guests staying at the hotel can enjoy complimentary room service from Jiangnan Zao—even if you’re not on the waitlist. Plus, the Christmas decorations were beautifully done, adding a magical touch to the entire stay. Honestly, I’m already planning my next visit—Shangri-La truly wins my heart every time.

The Westin Nanjing Xuanwu Lake

The restaurant on the 23rd floor offers breathtaking views of the lake and city skyline, making every meal feel like a special occasion. Every staff member I encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. A special shoutout to customer service manager Yuki (Li), who checked in with us from booking to check-out, ensuring everything went smoothly. Her dedication made a lasting impression. This is more than just a place to stay—it’s a memorable retreat that I’d happily return to again and again.
