The pastries are delicious, and the chicken soup wontons as well as the pork-filled dumplings are seriously satisfying. I was originally booked into a room type that wasn’t available yet, but the team kindly upgraded me to a Premium Suite—huge upgrade in space, view, and design. Everything felt thoughtfully curated. I ordered fresh fruit platters after my concert, and they arrived at my door in no time. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the service throughout was top-notch. From the moment I arrived, I could tell this place was special. The location is unbeatable—everything from the Bund to Nanjing Road and even Disneyland is just minutes away by subway or taxi. The French restaurant on the second floor is exceptional—elegant, delicious, and worth every penny, especially for a romantic dinner or a memorable celebration. Kevin from the concierge team went above and beyond, suggesting some amazing local Shanghainese eateries that were both authentic and affordable—definitely a highlight of the trip. Belle from the guest relations team gave us a warm, personalized tour of the hotel, sharing fascinating details about its design and amenities. It felt less like checking in and more like being welcomed into a home. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and every detail exuded sophistication. If you're looking for a luxurious yet genuinely welcoming stay in Shanghai, this is it—10/10, would book again in a heartbeat.
