The location is incredibly convenient—take the airport bus 6015 and get off at Euljiro 2-ga, then just turn left and you’ll spot the hotel right away. The front desk staff were very friendly and communicative during check-in, and housekeeping comes every two days while bed linens are changed every three days—really good attention to cleanliness. There’s some construction noise from nearby work sites during the day, but since we stayed out late exploring, it didn’t bother me at all. The area is packed with convenience stores, and there’s a little shop right downstairs that I ended up visiting almost daily—it’s amazing, with delicious food and a kind staff member who speaks Chinese and gives great recommendations. They also pointed us toward a fantastic grill restaurant across the street, which turned out to be one of the best meals of our trip. Overall, this place offers excellent value, comfort, and a great neighborhood vibe. I’d definitely stay here again when I return to Seoul.

Staying at the Days Hotel by Wyndham Seoul Myeongdong was an absolute highlight of my trip to Seoul. Plus, there’s a bus stop and subway station literally just a few meters from the hotel entrance, making travel around the city incredibly convenient. The breakfast area is clean and welcoming, with a good variety of options that catered well to my tastes. While the room isn’t large, it’s smartly laid out—two 26-inch suitcases can be opened side by side without any hassle. Staff were friendly and helpful despite minor language barriers during check-in. Overall, this hotel delivers excellent value, comfort, and prime positioning—highly recommend for travelers who want to be right in the heart of the action.

We had a bit of a nightmare with our original booking—self-check-in didn’t work out, and we were scrambling around midnight. Thankfully, we found this hotel nearby, and to our relief, the front desk was still open past 1 AM. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming. The room was small but perfectly functional—everything you’d need: comfy bed, reliable Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, and good AC. It’s super well-located near Dongdaemun, just a short walk to subway stations and shopping areas. We were impressed by how clean and well-maintained it felt for the price. If you’re in Seoul and need a last-minute spot with great service and convenience, this is definitely worth considering. Highly recommend!

Staying at Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Seoul Namdaemun was an absolute delight! I booked a triple room, and the space blew me away—there was plenty of room to lay out three suitcases easily. The mini-kitchen and in-room washer were a big plus, though dishes, cookware, and cleaning supplies weren’t provided (but that’s expected). The sofa was spacious and super comfortable, and the bed was large and incredibly cozy—perfect for a good night’s sleep. The fridge had separate freezer and refrigeration zones, which made it easy to organize food. Daily bottled water was provided per guest—simple but thoughtful. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, hands down one of the best parts of the trip; my kids especially loved the yogurt. The ground floor has convenience stores and Subway, so everything you need is just steps away. And the highlight? The Incheon Airport limousine bus stops right outside the hotel—no transfers, no stress. Just pure convenience. My only minor complaints: no mirror in the shower and not enough power outlets, but honestly, these are tiny trade-offs given how great everything else was. Overall, this place offers excellent value, comfort, and location. I’d definitely come back.

There are tons of local eateries around—locals love coming here, so you know it’s authentic and vibrant. The front desk staff were super professional and spoke excellent English—check-in and check-out went smoothly without any hiccups. I loved that the lobby has a luggage scale; it’s so convenient for checking your bag weight before heading out, especially when you’re shopping. The room had decent soundproofing—some noise from the neighboring room (like TV sounds) came through, but nothing too disruptive. I brought earplugs just in case, and they worked perfectly. One small note: the slippers were made of leather, likely for eco-friendly reasons. If you’re sensitive to materials or prefer your own, it might be worth bringing your own. Also, there’s no free bottled water, but there’s a water dispenser in the lobby where you can refill your bottle. Overall, the value for money is excellent, the atmosphere is lively and central, and the service is top-notch. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Seoul!

The bathroom had strong water pressure and hot water came on instantly—perfect for a relaxing shower. Housekeeping was thorough every day, paying attention to even the smallest details. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. Located just minutes from Myeongdong and Namsan Tower, it’s super convenient for exploring Seoul. With excellent value, top-notch service, and a peaceful vibe, I’ll definitely be coming back here next time I visit the city.

The hotel is excellent overall—great location, super convenient for getting around Seoul, and the staff are very friendly. My only confusion was that I booked a two-night stay, but I had to check out on the second day and couldn’t recheck in until after 6 PM. That timing restriction felt a bit odd and wasn’t clearly explained upfront. Still, the team handled it well, and even though I had to move my luggage, it didn’t ruin the experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and the value for money was strong. Definitely would stay here again.

The rooms themselves are spacious with large TVs that make for great entertainment. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and spoke fluent English, which made check-in and any inquiries super smooth. I appreciated the 24-hour check-in option—very convenient for late arrivals. Plus, everything you need is within walking distance: restaurants, cafes, shopping, and the metro station. This place truly offers the best of both worlds—urban energy and peaceful comfort. Highly recommend for travelers who want convenience without compromise.

The location of Hertz Hotel in Jongno was absolutely perfect! I arrived earlier than check-in time, but they kindly offered free luggage storage—so convenient. There were tons of restaurants, small shops, and cozy cafes nearby, making it easy to pass the time without any stress. The room itself was spotlessly clean, and having a bathtub was definitely one of the main reasons I chose this hotel—it made for a relaxing soak after a long day. Bathroom amenities included shampoo, conditioner, and a bathrobe, though I did need to bring my own toothbrush. For multi-night stays, water bottles were conveniently restocked. One standout feature was the sliding mirror that doubles as a blackout panel—just slide it across the window, and you’ve got complete darkness, ideal for sleeping in late. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a straightening iron available in the room—such a thoughtful touch. I’d definitely stay here again. Excellent value and a truly comfortable experience.

We stayed here as a family of three adults, including first-time visitors to Korea, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. What stood out most was the in-room laundry facilities—detergents were freely available, and I brought my own small packet of fabric softener from Japan, which worked perfectly. A large tote bag is highly recommended for moving laundry between rooms. The bathroom amenities were exceptional: the shampoo and conditioner had a luxurious scent and texture, leaving a subtle, pleasant fragrance throughout the room after showering. It’s rare to find a full set of toothbrushes included in a Korean hotel, and the lightweight hairdryer delivered strong airflow without strain. In the dining area, they offer four levels of spicy ramen—while I haven’t tried level 3, level 2 was similar to a moderately spicy kimchi ramen, not too overwhelming. Everything you’d expect at home, like plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and containers, was readily available. Even our homemade kimchi from a local market didn’t come with packaging—we were able to wrap it up neatly with the provided wrap and take it back easily. The staff were incredibly friendly, with several speaking Japanese, which made us feel safe and welcome. We especially enjoyed meeting Star-chan, who’s originally from Iran—such a memorable encounter! Thanks again, see you soon! One minor downside: the coffee machine was a bit sweet, and there was no option to adjust sugar levels—so every latte came out overly sugary. The chocolate drink also wasn’t to my taste. Also, the power outlets were tricky—my C-type adapter (bought from a 100-yen store) would plug in but kept falling out, making it unusable. Even though another universal adapter worked, it wobbled and sometimes fell over, causing power loss. And unfortunately, the silk-pressed straightening iron showed an error message and wouldn’t turn on. But overall? This place felt more like home than a hotel. Late-night ramen or toast lovers were cooking quietly nearby, yet we heard absolutely nothing—perfectly peaceful. It totally redefined what a hotel stay could be. We’re already planning to return next time we visit Korea!
Moxy Seoul Insadong
My daughter came to Seoul for a ZB1 concert, and we chose this hotel—perfectly located right next to the subway station, making travel super convenient. I absolutely loved the ground-floor and rooftop check-in areas; they have such a cool, modern vibe, and the complimentary welcome drink was a nice touch. The room was spotless, with a well-designed wet/dry separation that made everything so practical. Security is also top-notch—after 6 PM, only guests can access the lobby, which gives peace of mind, especially for solo female travelers. And the neighborhood? Absolutely packed with great dining options. Street food stalls start setting up around 4 PM and stay open until 2 AM, buzzing with young locals and full of authentic Seoul energy. It’s lively, fun, and full of character. I’d definitely come back here on any future trip to Seoul.
