This trip was for a friend’s birthday, and we took the chance to explore the stunning maple leaves at Qixia Mountain, golden ginkgo trees by Xuanwu Lake, Yanyue Lake, Stone Elephant Road, and the famous plane tree avenue. Perfect timing, perfect weather, and perfect vibes! The room arranged by Manager Dong was exceptional—comfortable, elegant, and thoughtfully prepared. Dining at Jiangnan Zao was a highlight: the ingredients were fresh and top-notch. The pickled turnip with preserved vegetables was surprisingly delicious, the fish head incredibly fresh, and the sweet-and-sour ribs? Absolutely unforgettable. My friend devoured the stir-fried beef in no time—proof it was a hit! Bonus: guests staying at the hotel can enjoy complimentary room service from Jiangnan Zao—even if you’re not on the waitlist. Then, just as I was soaking in the moment, the doorbell rang again: another delightful surprise from the housekeeping team with a mini birthday cake and a beautifully crafted card. It’s these little details that show how deeply the hotel values guest experience. The bedding remained as soft and comfortable as ever, and the service was prompt and attentive throughout. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: the hotel is literally steps away from Exit 1 of Line 1, and getting around the city by bus or metro is super convenient. Even better, the hotel included complimentary tickets to the nearby Six Dynasties Museum—a thoughtful touch that made exploring the city even more enjoyable. The location is excellent—central, walkable to major attractions, and just a short metro ride from everything. My stay was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. Right downstairs is deji shopping mall, so you can stroll from room to store without stepping outside into the cold. Even on freezing days, I just wore my own slippers, a T-shirt, and a light shawl—perfect for a relaxed shopping spree. Everything I wanted was available, no need to wander far. The only minor downside? A few front desk staff weren’t as attentive when checking in, but everyone else—from housekeeping to concierge—was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The housekeeping team, in particular, were so cheerful and proactive, adding a bright energy to the whole visit. It was such a joyful two days, and I’d absolutely return without hesitation.

The room managers, Li and Fan, responded instantly to any need, and the dining team led by Manager Wang Yan and Wu Li made sure every detail was perfect. Even at checkout, they surprised my child with a cute fridge magnet as a farewell gift. This is the kind of hotel that makes you feel like family.
