The front desk team went above and beyond by gifting our elderly parents a pair of herbal massage mallets, which they loved so much they asked for another the next day. When one of our parents wasn’t feeling well, the team kindly allowed us to take breakfast back to the room—such thoughtful flexibility. Housekeeping staff always smiled and said hello, making us feel truly at home. The pool is exceptional—crystal-clear water with perfect temperature, far better than many other hotels we’ve stayed in. It’s definitely a must-visit spot. The fitness center is top-notch, equipped with modern machines, plus there’s a sauna, table tennis, and even snooker—a fantastic bonus for relaxation and fun. We traveled with our parents in their 80s, and the staff were incredibly attentive and considerate throughout. Getting around town is super convenient, and everything you need is just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly attentive: someone guided me to park, and others helped with luggage without being asked. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with great variety. Just steps away is Xincheng Square—perfect for a morning stroll among the friendly pigeons. In about 15 minutes on foot, you can reach Muslim Quarter (Beiyuanmen) and even walk straight to Bell Tower. There’s also a small museum inside the Sofitel Legend building that shares the rich history of the original Renmin Building, including photos of famous visitors over the years. It’s like staying in a living piece of history. With its unbeatable location, warm hospitality, and unique heritage vibe, this hotel offers amazing value. The breakfast buffet was delicious, but I have to say the fried eggs were absolutely outstanding—perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, soft inside. The hotel has a free parking lot, which made exploring the city by car super convenient. We were disappointed we couldn’t get tickets to the Shaanxi History Museum—it’s notoriously hard to book—but the front desk staff immediately suggested some great alternative attractions that were perfect for families. Their recommendations were thoughtful and helpful. With its excellent location near the Tang Paradise area, friendly staff, and attention to detail, this hotel offers incredible value.
